Raymonds POV; I sit on a wooden bench beneath a tree and fix my gaze on the moon. It's fully out and is displaying its beautiful glory. Staring at it now, I wonder how it does what it does. How it remains so beautiful and adored despite all its scares and holes. Despite all the crashes and hurt it's been through. Despite it being so far from human habitation, we still found a way to get up there to trample on and mark it. Yet, it doesn't stop shinning and doesn't stop being beautiful.

"It wasn't its whole self, it wasn't perfect either yet it was beautiful, was it not?" I glanced back at her and she did the same. I ran my fingers over the stars, "Thank you, this is beautiful," I replied still mesmerized by it but reluctantly tore my gaze from the windchime to find Damien looking at me with a big smile on his lips. The glow of the moon in her hair made it shine brighter than it ever had, the glow also affected her eyes and her smile and I swore she was a celestial being.

People tend to fear what they don’t understand, and fear is a good friend of hate and deception. I tilt my head back and peer at the moon, perched high in the inky sky, shining gloriously. The sight truly is breathtaking, and though I have seen this view every night of my existence, it still manages to hold me captive. But for some wild reason, it feels like forever since I have allowed myself to be lost in her beauty. Especially now with everything that has been happening lately.
