motherfucking ph’nglui mglw’nafh hastur! hastur Father Ward’s trembling fingers typed ‘hastur.’ This produced several images of a spectral figure cloaked in yellow, one of which reclined on a throne made of skulls, and another Wikipedia link. The entry proved vaguer than the others, but no less disturbing. “Hastur,” he whispered. “The Unspeakable One. He Who Shall Not Be Named. Also known as Assautuu, Yastur, H’aztre, or Kazum. Mythical deity said to reside in far off Carcosa, along Lake Hyades. Often associated with gods of pagan and child sacrifice.”

NOT good. The screaming, shouting and yelling began. The house leaders were standing up, shaking fingers and launching threats at one another. Me? I was trying to recall who Ishara was. She eventually became Ishtar, Goddess of War. In the Old Kingdom Hittite she was also the Goddess of Oaths, Love and Medicine. The only three people at the table not going nuts where St. Marie, Hayden and the woman at her side. That woman was looking at her tablet intently. Once more the group reached consensus and I was still boned. I was still a male, so my lineage meant nothing. I wasn't part of the Host. Hayden took another deep breath, acknowledging this second decision.

Hades declares, earning a snarl from Astria. "No!" she retorts aggressively. Azrael chimes in, "No!" Hades stifles a laugh, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Mommy, mine!" Astria seethes again, her tiny face scrunched in determination. "Not happening," Hades shakes his head, chuckling. Astria's face crumples and she begins to whine, tears welling up in her eyes. "Hades," I call out from behind them, my voice firm but gentle.

Hades was the only one who did not seem to have any opinion in the moment, almost as if he had predicted such an outcome in a meetings held by his youngest brother. Poseidon calms down to a hiss. "Why are we even here? It was then that Izumi stands up, walking with his back straight and steps in a slow pace. He comes to a stop at the centre facing Hades as if for permission. And with his light nod I glup down the building bile of bad thoughts as Izumi turns to me. "I am Thanatos, the God of death." He introduces himself like all those years back, only all the words were different and now even our world's differed.

I towered over the God, having at least two feet on him. “But you are here, Lord Hades. Does that not mean I am meant to cross over?” I hesitated as I asked. I didn’t want to be disrespectful. Minos had disrespected Hades’ brother Posideon, and I was the result. “It’s not your time. The Fates have plans for you, Asterion. You have more work to do before I can come for you.” he explained.

He was silent, his eyes trailing over my body, before his hand took my own into his and he held it with a confident grip as he began to stride casually and I walked alongside him, "a lot exists in this world that many know nothing about, my Aphrodite. That, you most certainly can be assured of." He stopped in his steps, before he turned to me and gently pulled my body into his. He placed his hands on my waist and I wrapped my own arms around his neck, leaning in to place my head on his shoulder. "There is much of the unknown that you are not aware of. An evil presence that has always been present in your life and you have yet to know of it." "What do you speak of, Master Abigor?"

she is staring at their door while thinking of him as if she is talking in front of him. " Please don't get mad at me." Chad wondered why her Mommy is staring at their door as if she is waiting for someone. "Mommy, who are you waiting for?" he asked Kristina. She then woke up from her senses. She is quite having some illusions of Nathaniel's presence then. "No one son. I am just thinking of your Tito Nats," she confessed to Chad. She hadn't informed her son of her romantic relationship with Nathaniel yet.

Ciaran, which means darkness, is the smaller twin and although they are identical, Ciaran had softer features including his long lashes, curly fluffy black hair and grey—almost silver eyes. Both have different personalities and Crocell is always up on his feet with his little replicas running around causing havoc. “You look like you recovered well.” Hades said as he sat beside me on a marble bench by the gazebo where my family plays. I nodded and looked at Hades who is fondly stealing glances at the children. “They are wonderful.” I said after a while as I see a fond smile on his lips. “It was worth every pain.” “Yes… I suppose I understand you in that part.” Hades replied and I can’t help b

It is evil as well as sexy. “I’m all ears.” He tells me once he notices my silence just after his name. It is attractive and sounds good. Hades… means God of the dead and underworld. A giver of wealth. “I have submitted the agreement, according to which you can walk out with me but only for an hour. I hope you will not have any problem with this.” I say, gathering some courage. For fuck’s sake, I am a psychiatrist and I have met such patients many times. Then why should react this stupidly around this man? He is a mere patient who cannot control me.

I try to break free from him, but his grip is strong and he pulls me into his chest. "Come on now, puppy. I was just fucking with you. No need to get feisty," he breathes into my ear. But I still try to push off him. "Esteban, let. Me. Go." "Or what?" He dares. "What will you do about it, Lilith Hayes?" My heart stops in an instant. What did he just call me?
