She wandered up to one of the shelves and ran her fingers across the books worn spines; they smelled of dust and age. The books looked essential and historical. Nueva pulled a brow leather book from its neat row. The front cover had beautifully intricate designs etched into the aged skin, and a thin leather string locked the book's covers. She gently untied the knot and flicked through the aged yellow pages; Eira stirred inside her head. Nueva couldn't understand the language; it looked complicated and old, but the hand-drawn pictures drew her in.

I was afraid of touching it when he handed it to me. “This is the last of the four copies the author had made. You can read it if you like. No wonder it looked ancient, especially with a magnificently done engraving of the title and the author’s name. “Why would you give this to me?” I asked, looking at him who leaned against the bookshelf, arms crossed to his chest and eyes locked on me

The cover of the third book was a silent declaration of victory. Where the previous ones had carried dark and uncertain tones, this one displayed a watercolor in golds and deep blues—colors that evoked sunrises over the ocean, promises kept, and horizons that had finally revealed themselves within reach. The title, engraved in handwritten letters like an intimate confession, was simple and revolutionary: “To Live.”

I turn it over to see the cover, and my jaw drops. It’s a romance novel. A thick, spicy, explicit romance. A slow smile spreads across my face. I sink into the chair, clutching the book to my chest. I pressed the book against my chest, the hard edges of the cover digging into my skin. I didn't even look at the others on the shelf. I just needed this one. A tiny, wicked smirk pulled at my mouth as I slipped out of the room. It felt like a heist, a dirty little secret I was stealing from the shadows of this house.

"Okay," "If it weren't for you being able to get an interview with Nicolo Caruso, we wouldn't have sold out all of our copies. Now the Barone publishing company is meeting the number 2nd best publishing in Italy and other cities," she smiles slightly. "Chief publisher will surely reward you," she added. "This is extra of the previous work of last month," she hands it over to me. Wow, it carries a picture of my husband on the cover page. Why is he so handsome?"Thank you, Team Leader," I smile like a maniac hugging the book. "I go now and call Director Santoro's office," I smile and walk out.

I remembered us settling with 'Desiring Aros' for her book which was to be adapted into a local TV show. We had three masculine men and she had to choose one and use it for the cover of her book. I narrowed my eyes as I examined the novel on Romeo's office table. I could swear that it looked more like what Carina would have on her cover but I was unable to see well. Maybe I was missing her, it's why I was seeing things that would remind me of her. An evil chuckle caught me directing my gaze to the man behind the office table. He summoned me to his office only to keep me standing for almost three minutes. He was watching something on his iPad.

Jacob laughed. “I’ll kick your ass too!” I said as I glared at him. “Kris! We have one more surprise for you.” Penny yelled from behind my front desk. “What?” I looked confused. She walked out carrying a massive book. I recognized what it was right away. It’s the type of book that you use for a portfolio. “You got me a new book?” “Kinda.” Penny showed me the cover. It had a Black Moon with two wolves howling. The leather was fresh as I could smell it. Alec took the cover and opened it for me.

As he grabs the orange books, he feels the hard cover and runs his hand on the embossed title – The Darkest Minds. He notices a weird symbol on its cover, it doesn’t seem to be out of the ordinary. A book has got to have an interesting cover, hasn’t it? As he opens the cover to explore its pages, something falls out – it was a bookmark. Starting this book wasn't part of the plan. That day, my goal was to scroll through P*******t to find a cover for "GOOD SIN" since I wasn't able to afford a designer. But then, I saw a rainbow poem. And it was just... too emotional. I've always been neutral but the idea just came that day. I wasn't a big fan of MM or BL books and I knew it won't hurt to do something new so I started my first draft. The final kick in the ass was Goodnovel's contest. I applied and I wasn't really surprised when it passed the review because I worked for this.
