I'm not little anymore, but I guess we all need to act like little kids sometimes. It's a beautiful day, full of sunshine and the promise of a stunning autumn around the corner. The sky is so blue it's almost unreal, and there isn't a cloud to mar its perfection. The leaves are still green, but they won't be for long. I'm sure the towering yet graceful trees will burst out into a riot of color in another month or so.

Not only your mother but I also feel very proud of you. Before I met you, I thought my life was very difficult. But after meeting you I realized that my life was easier than yours. Human life is as diverse as our nature, Duke. Like the rainbow, there are colors in our lives. Where there are seven colors just like nature. Sometimes our life is covered with the red color of love. Sometimes black cloud of sadness descends on our life.

“We’ll all be going to Neo Greenpeace.” Violet let out a squeal of delight. “Yay! This is going to be the best adventure ever!” “Well, well, hold on there, kiddo,” Alpha Matthew chimed in. “I’m not so sure there’s a purple butterfly out there. You remember that it’s Greenpeace we’re talking about, right?” Violet’s face fell for a moment, but then she perked up again. “Well, we can still look for other cool creatures and plants. And it’ll be great to see all the amazing work Greenpeace is doing to protect the environment.”

Until then, I am living blissfully in denial and holding onto hope with both hands. I live in a similar world as Winnie with beliefs of unicorns, fairies, and happily ever afters. However, all her princes are now dangerous and covered in tattoos. Instead of riding up on a unicorn, they drive a Harley. Ace and I will have our hands full when she gets older.

Anne said and I applauded her. "Okay yeah," Katherine rolled her eyes. "And, you know, the most amazing thing about them is that they barf out a rainbow and it flows like a river and as it flows, it never loses its rainbowic colour or should I say colours," She giggled. "Oh, I wish it was rainbowing a rainbow," Katherine laughed and I arched my brow. "Maybe a rainbow trout will do," Anne said and they both laughed while I looked at them puzzled. What's so funny anyway.

It also meant the colour of a bruise like the bruises Aunt Alami had around her eyes before she divorced her husband. The rain fell like it did in the Bible when God destroyed all the bad people with a flood. I wondered if another flood was going to happen then I remember it won't because we were told in Sunday school that God put the rainbow in the sky was a reminder of His promise that the world will never be destroyed with a flood again. I put out my tongue and tasted the falling water. So this is how clouds taste.
