I formerly believed that my research focused on learning how butterflies move. The butterfly constellation in Phoebe's most recent artwork was sparkling as if it were alive as the last of the sunlight fell. My forehead furrowed hearing him saying those words out of nowhere. “But you know what they don’t realize? That the rainbow was there all along. It just chases the rain always, in the end they never had the chance to meet. ” My mind stuttered. It hit me right on my souls. He has a point. There are things in our lives that we cannot see of importance without a good cause or cure. We can’t appreciate things simply alone. We can’t appreciate things as it is.

"Did you know, butterflies symbolize transformation and new beginnings? Just like how you brought so much light into our lives, little one." My son's eyes widened with wonder. "Really?" "Absolutely," Ruth adds, her voice gentle. "Sometimes, life brings unexpected challenges, but it also presents us with opportunities to grow and create something beautiful." We spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying our picnic, basking in the Hi warmth of each other's company. Our lives may have taken unexpected turns, but the love and bond we share remain steadfast. “Yup.” And indeed not many days later I am back on the bench by the lake. Could there really be a wormhole here? Winter is past its peak, and temperatures have become much more bearable. This time I take more time to travel exactly to a point where I want to be. Several attempts failed, I couldn't get the right images of it. Sparkling fountains gurgle and splash, adding a cool and soothing sound to the peaceful atmosphere. There was even a small meandering stream that winds through the garden, with colorful fish darting around in the clear water. And a few friendly butterflies flit between the flowers, their wings like stained glass in the sunlight. The entire garden feels magical, a world away from the hustle and bustle of my problems. For a moment, I forgot about the guards, Luna Hazel, Alpha Rayel and the whole messed-up situation.

Aurora Rain has always had a special place in my heart, the splattering noise of drops hitting the pavement, the sweet smell of wet mud and the soft rainy breeze makes my heart flutter with excitement and awe. But today, everything feels different, like for instance, the usual rainy clouds look gloomier than ever and there is a slight sadness in the air. I don’t know if it’s just me or if the universe is playing some sick game, but my spirits are down and I feel awful.
