IZZY'S POV, I was back at my desk, leaving the Castle and the magical life I had to live for the past two days behind. However, my mind never came back with me to the corporate life of Austin. It was still wrapped around the scent of roses and old stone walls that I fell in love with. I was still in front of that giant fireplace, wrapped in a blanket while it rained outside. Time suddenly slowed down except for Iowa but was too late to capture Isuzu. Iowa pressed the crown back and waited for Isuzu. Isuzu hid in her world as she dropped herself from a portal below. She waited for Iowa to look back and when she did, she grabbed Iowa's heel and pulled her down, making her crash on the floor. Isuzu opened her eyes once more to set her back beside Iowa. "I win!" Isuzu laughed as she ran to her destination, leaving Iowa to see Isuzu run away. Celeste approached Iowa as she stood up and brushed the dirt off her uniform.

I whispered to her ear. “Geez, are you done, lover boy?” Izzy’s words are laced with venom, but she should not feel jealous.
