Harper’s POV As I slowly wake up, I sense Josh moving around me. I realize he has tucked me into bed, holding me gently. It might seem like a small thing, but it tells me a lot about how much he cares. In that hazy time between being asleep and fully awake, I overhear Josh chatting with someone on the phone. His voice is friendly and familiar, creating a soothing atmosphere. I piece together parts of his conversation with his mom. My heart tugs with our last encounter. How will she feel when she hears that Josh and I are back together? I shake the thought off my mind, hoping for the best when we see her again.

Victor POV Holy Shit! I’m going to be a father! I will be forever tied to my ex-wife, but I’m fine with that. I almost like her more now that we’re divorced. Better Harley than Daya. Daya has become entirely too clingy and her voice is driving me up a wall. At least her lying ass is giving me a break for the next month. FLASHBACK

Jack wanted me to fall apart, to go mad and seek death, to cradle my heart and offer it up to them. So I'd let them turn on each other first, dog biting dog, mouths full of fur. Vivian's eyes went wide as she fought with everything she had, until at last she was smothered into unconsciousness. Only after dealing with Vivian did Jack turn and take my hand. "Nora, you have to believe me. I'm sincere about you."

"Yeah she is. What's your point? Why is it so hard to fathom?" "He's a freaking child! He's not man enough for her!" Dean gave me a deadpan look "He's the same age as Harvey" I rolled my eyes "Whatever" "Will you stop being jealous and just listen to my plan!" Dean said and I huffed again What did Harvey see in that pimply faced kid that has her so besotted or in love like she claims to be? He didn't measure up to me in any way. Not by looks and certainly not in strength or rank

Reluctantly, I stepped into the circle, too. “All right. Let’s see….” Ms. Piper tapped a finger to her chin as she thought about a scenario for us to act out. So far, they’d all been silly. Like two trash collectors who find a body in a dumpster. But when her green eyes widened and her mouth dropped open, I had a feeling I was in trouble. “I’ve got it!” she said with a wide smile. “Harlow, Brice is your ex-boyfriend, and you desperately want him back!”

Harlow urged, offering me a little piece of grilled bacon sandwich. “Ouch! You two look like newlyweds! If you want to get married, just say so, and I’ll contact the elders,” Jack taunted. “No,” I said, shaking my head, but Harlow continued to coax me with a casual smile. “Come on, don’t be shy,” Harlow said, his grin still wide. ‘Why does he act like this? What kind of caring gesture is this? Does he think he’s feeding a baby?’ ‘He’s so sweet and kind.’ Mythril sighed again.

Harvey smiled calmly. “What would you like me to do?” Jace chuckled coldly. “Grovel and admit that you’re wrong, then break every single one of your arms.” “Get those two women who got away to my bed! I’ll play with them for three whole days!” “When I’m happy, I’ll let you off the hook!” Harvey narrowed his eyes. “I decided to break every single one of your limbs. You’re never going to stand back up ever again!”

I blurt out, growing flustered. Hamilton presses his lips together quickly, staring at me with a puzzled frown like I just asked if the moon is round. "You're joking, right? Of course they like each other, in a totally normal way for two wolves who grew up together, practically as siblings. Malachi cares for her as much as I do, as her older brother. What exactly do you mean, do they like each other?" "Okay, let me rephrase this," I look up at the ceiling, wondering why God created guys to be so dense. "Is there any possibility Harlow has feelings for Malachi, and is upset with me for being his true mate?"

They respect and admire me only because of my status as the Harlow family heir. “Even you, Mia. If I weren’t the Harlow heir, would you still have feelings for me?” His words left me speechless at that time. If he weren’t the Harlow heir, there wouldn’t have been an engagement between us. We wouldn’t have grown up together. How could there even be a question of love?

"Through the glass." I looked at him. I thought about don't approach him. He had approached me. The distinction felt important. "Mr. Kowalski," I said. Steady. He looked at me for a moment. "How long have you been at Harlow?" "Since September," I said. He nodded slowly. "My son speaks well of the hockey program," he said. He said it as if that was a natural continuation. As if we were having a normal conversation. "That's good to hear," I said.
