Jack London: The Call Of The Wild Novels & Stories

Liza coughed as she noticed our movements and then glanced at the indifferent man that stood at her side. "Are you gonna go crazy like the others?" she asked him. "Do I look like a little pup with no self restraint?" came his casual reply. Liza snorted and rolled her eyes, "no, your wolf probably looks like that squirrel off ice age with its long ass m-" "That's everybody," Liza got cut off by Abel as he informed us. "Are you sure?" Axil asked. "Positive."

“No. Jack got arrested in London two years ago on illicit drug trafficking charges. He’d hosted a rowdy bash on one of our private jets which flew him and his friends to London. A fight broke out when they landed and the police were called. They’d found a large quantity of coke and crystal meth in the cabin and everyone got arrested.” “Oh, boy…” “I literally had to move mountains to get him out of detention and keep the story out of the papers. Bribing law enforcement officers isn’t something that I’m proud of, but it was what I had to do to save my brother.” “And it worked.” “One hundred percent. Jack Beaumont is a free man, isn’t he?” She smiled sadly. “What a mess…” “Not as messy as what

I met Jack in a dark alleyway after Felix and I had completed our first assignment. We had both been shot and we were bleeding as we heard the high heels click clack towards us. He had smelled our blood and we both looked at the big man that stood in front of us wearing a skin tight dress. Jack was also Jackie and he loved to dress up and perform at a downtown club over weekends. Jack had loaded us in his car and taken us home, he was a lone wolf and preferred it that way. We became friends and whenever we travelled through Oklahoma we would drop in on him. He had cried when I called him with the news that Felix had been killed.

Casper ran to him and peered over his shoulders. It was a journal of an Alpha Tate from 1959. And on the right page were scrawled the following words: "On this day, 12th of June 1959. three wolves found dead at border. Beaten and butchered. One with a tattoo. Crescent with a circle around it."

Coward. I purposely let my boots make noise as I made my way slowly to him, stopping behind his chair. The cold room grew even colder as my beast released some of the darkness swallowing him. Jack began to cough as the darkness swarmed around him, cutting off his oxygen and making him gasp and breathe in the negativity that choked my beast for so long. My beast had grown comforted by violence. I chuckled as I heard his desperate panting for air as if his lungs refused to take in all the air in the room. “It’s all in your head, Jack. Breathe,” I said loudly. My voice sounded rougher and harsher with a sort of wild animal snarl to it.

Seeing this, the other wolves attacked in unison, and Wyatt, like a bolt of black lightning, broke through the wolves and quickly knocked down the few wolves that were left. Seeing that he was the only wolf left standing, Jack clenched his tail and whimpered as he continued to back away. "Now, are you going to tell me with which hand you have just touched my woman?" Wyatt raised his huge wolf mouth, showing his white fangs, and walked toward Jack again. His voice was like a sharp sword hardened with ice, making the listener shudder. Jack was so frightened that his body shook and he cried out, "The right hand! It's the right hand! Please don't kill me."

I muttered, shocked, “how?” “Maximo,” Jack laughed, “that bloke’s got a bad rep but he’s a really good person.” It was hard to believe that a really good person has tortured a little girl for so long. But who was I to argue? Even if I wanted to, it was definitely not in his own territory. “I don’t remember members of the Yellowstone pack being this much?” I asked. For a nanosecond, a dark cloud raced past Jack’s eyes, but it disappeared just as fast it appeared.

The night sky was covered by some clouds. But somewhere, there was a long howling…a big white wolf was standing on the edge of a cliff. Clayton rose from his seat. He looked at Mr. Jackson as he felt his blood was rushing inside his veins. There was a calling instinct coming into his all senses “It’s an alarming call, Jackson…” Mr. Jackson pulled the cigarette from his mouth. “Yeah. I know!” Austin rubbed her back neck. “I feel shivering to hear the howling…” “What’s that?”

They saluted Jack smartly and he saluted back as they opened the door for him, ‘Sir would you like us to put the dog in the cage?’ One of them asked politely and Jack grinned back at him, ‘Would you like to try Officer?’ He went to grab my collar and I growled deeply letting it rumble through my chest as my ears went back and I bared my teeth and he backed away instantly, ‘That’s okay Sir he can ride with you’ They both jumped warily into the front not at all sure about having a Wolf sit behind them but I was given the opportunity to change their minds very quickly. The air raid siren went off just as they started the engine and the American soldiers shouted

But Alpha Lucas refused to grant Teddy bail. "How can I be alright, Waylon? My wolf wants Charlotte and has been angry with me because I refused to see her and speak with her. I also saw her now when I was arriving here," Jack said, the look of hurt in his eyes as Waylon settled across from his desk and looked at him in pity.
