I say not believing what I think he'd done.

Her hand clenched into a fist and she walk out angrily without saying any word. I sighed softly and jack turn to stare at me. " I think i just got myself unemployed jack. " I said silently.

The front door of the packhouse swings open again- Brock’s the last to arrive, stepping inside with a guy who looks to be a few years older than him, presumably his beta. “What’s going on?” he asks, running a hand through his wavy shoulder-length hair and eyeing the rest of us with suspicion. I suppose it would be a mindfuck to get an ominous call for an emergency meeting and walk into a cheerful celebration. “Jax and Quinn are mates,” Reid supplies. “You owe me fifty bucks.”

“Oh, this feels incredible. Ruby, come with me. Let’s drink, dance, find some handsome men, and forget everything for a while.” Austin chuckled softly but stepped back. “You two have fun. I’ll sit this one out.” At the bar, the atmosphere was loud and hazy, lit by neon. Sally, on the other hand, appeared pale and weak, her usual agility diminished. Once Sally and her mom, Stella, were seated downstairs, Jerry inquired with concern, "Hey, what's wrong?" Stella wiped away her tears and said, "I discovered a shocking secret today, and I'm still reeling. My daughter here..." She paused, glancing at Sally, before continuing, "You don't want to share it, do you?" Sally shook her head with a smile, and Stella nodded in understanding. Taking a deep breath, Sally began, "My name isn't actually Sally, but Sadie. I took my sister's identity." She proceeded to explain everything, leaving me utterly shocked.

In his desperation to explain himself to Nora, he had even gone to her and Sally’s workplaces to look for them, but nothing he tried worked. “I can see by the look on your face that you do remember me. Are you going to get out of the car or what? You and I need to have a little chat.” Sally said, interrupting his thoughts. Austin hid a smile. In the little time that he had known both women, he had discovered that Sally was quite bossy and chatty, while Nora was mousy, although she couldn’t be labeled as mousy any longer. I looked down at my table, and it was completely empty, and then I looked up at the pretty lady standing in front of me. "Get me anything," I replied. I noticed that she was floating away and looked down to see that she had skating shoes on. I shook my head, and again, I leaned backwards. She served me after a while, and I began to sip from my drink while I still listened to their conversation. My heart sank immediately when I heard Alex mention that Sally was pregnant.
