When the man stood in front of him, Harris first took note of the way he held his sword. The broad-chested man's grip on it was tight but imbalanced, and he saw this. Perhaps weeks of intensive training had done him better than he believed it would. Harris had been carefully and brutally training with the wolves since he arrived. He knew that the only way he would not be thrown into the streets is if he could impress the chief, Jesse Wyatt. The man had said he would be present to watch today's training session. And for some reason, they were training with swords. Of course, Harris never saw the use. If they ever went to war against any pack, they would make use of guns and combat.

Was this a matter of sacrificing personal relationships for the greater good? - The end of the three-month training period was getting closer and closer. Jenell arranged for Jasper and Nancy to stay at the base under Harris's care and supervision. Harris could only accept this fate, but fortunately, with Dimas around at the base, he wasn't worried about handling these two troublemakers. On their first day at the base, the two of them were already arguing in the living room. “Dimi, you have to help me restrain these two troublemakers,” Harris pleaded.

I just simply answer looking at my fingers crossed as I play with them . "You have twenty minutes to get ready ,you will find me at the training ground ,"he responds and walks out leaving the door open . I get up quickly and drag myself to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I don't even know what I'm going to wear for my first time in training and I wonder who will be training me or maybe it's Maddox. Once I'm done with my shower .I grab Maddox's large shirt and a pair of black leggings and sneakers. I breath out as I look at my outfit . The whole shirt swallows me whole and I look like a child even though I'm a little bit plump and curvy .I still look small.

"Bring him in." The gates open, and Lord Harris strolls into the training grounds. He carries himself with a lazy, confident grace, dressed in fine fighting leathers that look more decorative than functional. He looks younger his face handsome. Harris grins as he approaches, clapping his hands together. "Damien! Still playing in the dirt, I see." Damien snorts, tossing the soiled towel back to Aiden, who catches it clumsily. "It keeps the pack sharp. Something you’d know nothing about, spending all your time in the city."

“Oh, yes. Those poor souls—sergeant’s got them on one of his intense training sprees. They’ll be limping for days.” I laugh softly. It’s so typical of Kayden, my mate and the Pack’s Alpha, to push his soldiers to their limits. His training sessions are grueling, but that’s how he ensures their survival. I can’t help but admire him for it, even if I pity the soldiers a little. “I’ll leave you to it, Luna,” Harris says after a moment. “I need to head home—my wife’s waiting for me. It’s been three days since I’ve been there, and she’s probably furious with me. I’m not sure how to escape her wrath.”

Jax was already gone. “Hayes.” Ryder pushed off the wall and headed toward the mat as the sound of Jax’s steps echoed faintly down the corridor. “Hey—Calloway. You good?” one of the trainers called after him. No response. “Hey,” the trainer tried again. “You finish all your stations?” Jax didn’t slow. Didn’t turn. The trainer exhaled sharply and shook his head. “Never mind,” he muttered, already turning back to the clipboard.

Harris gave Noah a soft smile and pulled him into a hug when his lip began to tremble. "I don't want to kill him. But I won't let him take this pack. If it comes down to it, I promise, I will kill him." .... Noah watches Harris on the training field and smiles proudly. 'He is a good fighter!' Noah thought and tilted his head when Harris ads in a new move. Noah's smile widens, impressed. He didn't know Harris knew that move. 'He pays attention more than I thought,' Noah thought. Zane grunts when his back hits the ground. The 3rd in command wipes the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand and glares at the shit-eating grin on Harris's face.

I forgot one of the reasons why I mindlinked Justin to begin with. “Justin! What is this new female trainer’s name?!” I shouted through the link. Annoyed that I forgot to ask him the first time and that it’s not included on this fund request to begin with. “Oh shit! It’s ummm... Diamond. Diamond Tannerman. She is coming from the Eclipse Pack out of Washington, Alpha.” He responded quickly. Good. At least he remembered her name.

Then he turned to leave. I reached for his hand, pulling him back and a few people stopped fighting to stare at us. I quickly let go of his hand realizing that I had done something wrong again. "You’re leaving. Where are you going?" "I’ll be back. I need to change my clothes." I didn’t understand why. He was already wearing what looked like workout attire. His shorts now were completely dry from swimming in the lake. I watched him run towards the house before I heard Chris yell. "Team!" He shouted. "This is Zaya. She will be joining us in training from now on. She is new and has not trained in a while. Make her feel welcome." After his announcement, he turned his attention to me and began gi
