“Julia… is one of the youngest board members in the company. She didn’t get there by selling off her body. She is indeed a big girl.” Jake sat still, the weight of his assumptions pressing down. Robert wasn’t done. He looked Jake in the eye, voice calm but loaded. “Julia,” he said, “is the CLO’s only sister.” Jake’s brows furrowed. Robert continued. “She’s Richard Blake’s daughter.” Jake jolted. “What? Dad… are you serious?” Robert nodded slowly. “Too serious, my son.” Jake turned away from his father, his mind spinning. He whispered to himself, “This is unbelievable…”

I was glad that I was tipsy, sober me would have squirmed under their gazes but I matched their stare boldly without blinking. "I didn't know you had arrived." Jacob gave Precious and I hugs in turn. He smelt of clean clothes and bathing soap, I loved how lean and taut his body felt pressed against mine. His hair is cut low. I wanted to touch it. "Where is your sister?" He asked, glancing behind me like he expected to see Lily stroll in. I shrugged. "She didn't want to come." I hoped he was not one of those people who could tell when a person was lying. His eyes dimmed a little—did my nose grow?—then he smiled.

I wondered who she was referring to . "Sarah, it's not what it looks like," I shook my head, really not knowing what I was supposed to say at this point. Her eyes moved to the television for a split second and she buried her face in her hands, "you were seriously watching a porno movie, Jennifer I don't care if he was with any other woman, but you're my goddamn sister! I really wanted to think it was nothing more than a lie, Jen.. Jeni.." she didn't bother to say more just burst out of the room crying.

“I told you this would happen!” Waitㅡ what?! I struggled to form words. “Wait, I can explain. She's lying!” His mum stepped forward, fury written across her face. “Is it not enough? The havoc and the rumors you've spread against your own sister?!” She seethed, voice harsh. I took a step back, struggling to form words. “Youㅡ That's not what happened, hear me outㅡ she's lying to you all! She cheated on Alpha Orionㅡ”

Lea's POV ***let me continue the narration*** That was the way Jake and Phil met for the first time. There was no way for them to know that they were very intricately connected. In fact, their connection was biological. Phill was Jake's older brother, and Jake was one of his younger siblings. They had a little baby sister, who was at this time a full-fledged teenager. Her name was Mercy.

“Can you believe that Sunshine is not carrying Jake’s baby?” Beth was stunned, and stared at the woman she knew to be Sunshine’s sister. “I know Jake, and he was really close to Sunshine back then. I also know that he and my sister were seeing each other secretly. It’s just sad that my sister has forgotten about him." Beth was relieved, and someone believed that Sunshine was carrying her grandchild. Jessica smiled when she saw the reaction on the lady’s face. She patted her palm. “If you need someone to talk to, I’m right here.”

I sat down on the couch with Jake and Randy, who were arguing over which team was going all the way in the NBA this year. “Hey, Luke,” Jake said. “I hear you know the hot girl that’s working down at the lumberyard.” “I remember her growing up,” Randy piped in, “she looks a hell of a lot better now. I wouldn’t mind hosing her down when she got too hot.” “Guys, that’s Sarah Jo, Ryan’s little sister. Don’t be disgusting,” I said. “Come on, don’t tell me you never wanted to tap that ass,” Jake said.

I said “I’m just worried what Lilah meant by that, see not many people outside of our close circle know this, but you’re going to be part of that circle now right?" ……She looked up at me, with a small nod, I could see she was still fighting tears but wanted to know what I had to say “I had a sister three years younger than me, Cleo, she drove me crazy growing up…..” I saw Jake rest his head on his hands and Dan’s face dropped too, I know this would be hard for them too as Cleo had been like family to them too.

Ravena was accustomed to taking care of herself, too. He's already gone through a lot with your sister, so he doesn't need to go through it again with you. Damn it, lady, he needs to get better. as if she hadn't? Jake had been mentioning her sister! She had adored her in the same way that Lucian had. How else could they have known she was here? darn it, to get even for her sister's murder!

They too cannot explain what they are feeling. “That is Shin Alexandra, your sister.
