Caroline’s golden eyes were fixed on Rowan, but within her gaze there was no longer only the wolf’s savagery; something ancient and icy, a regal dignity, now shimmered there as well. From one of the darker corners of the cave, where no one had paid attention in the heat of battle, a figure stepped forward. Jake—Caroline’s brother, whom everyone believed dead, or at least lost forever in the mountains—stood there now, clutching a thick, ice-scarred leather-bound scroll. His face was pale, his clothes in tatters, but his eyes burned with feverish intensity. “Stop, Rowan!” Jake shouted, his voice echoing beneath the vaulted stone. “Don’t approach her as a beast!”

It is his fault why I hated stinging bees, yet he has that pet name for me that I grew fond of. Removing my blindfold, my eyes squeezed shut a few times. I was still in deep thoughts when I heard a male voice. "Hello , I am Jake" he said stretching forth his hand for a handshake. I realised he is the stranger I was admiring earlier. I noticed he was even more handsome than what I saw earlier, he was about 6 feet tall, well built and his six packs stuck out from his shirt. I also discovered he had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, short spiky hair which made him look more handsome and his voice sounded like that of an Angel. Well, I haven't seen any Angel in reality but I have seen them in movies.
