I don’t know who this person is, but he or she is pissing me off. Thankfully it is Friday, and I can be home for the next two days. I talked with Doug the day after our meeting and asked about a guard for Everly. He thought that was a good idea. He told me that he had the perfect guy and would call me back after talking with him. I am guessing that if this is one of his friends or a guy who works for him, he knows Everly and will agree without hesitation. The guy that Doug sent started yesterday. His name is Giovanni, or Gio for short. He and Everly seem to get along ok so far. I was concerned, considering he is only 25, but Doug told me that there is no one he trusts more than Gio.

“Your father is going to talk about something important, stay here.” Darren sighed, he really wanted to take the girl away from this boring family gathering. But he couldn't help but listen to his father speak first. “We look like family, right Mr. Frank?” He was Adam Jarl, Alpha Pack Kyne, Darren's father. Of course before answering that question, Frank chuckled to break the ice. After all he thought it was a good signal to bring two families together. “Yeah, we're like two families already, Alpha Adam. I feel like we're very compatible in every way.”

I said by way of greeting, resting my hip on the island. “You have to get back to Italy now Arian, you can only be away from here for so long, we found a spy hiding in the bushes around our perimeter this morning, he says he won’t speak to anyone but the Alpha” he paused, I sighed “I assume there’s more” I prompted when he didn’t continue

But when one wolf at the far end of the room whispered too loudly and the table chuckled under their breath, he set his fork down with a sharp clink. The sound cut through the room like glass breaking. Every head turned. His voice was calm. Cold. “Is there something you’d like to share?” The wolf froze. The color drained from his face. “No, Alpha,” he said quickly, eyes dropping to the table. “Good,” Nolan said. “Because if anyone here thinks my wife is a subject for gossip, they’re free to take it up with me directly. As I doubt that any alpha would allow limits to be crossed when it comes to his Luna. And I think that you know what it is to cross a limit when it is me.”

He asked me. "It wasn't. When I left the pack seven years ago after escaping the prison, as you know I ended up there before I went to Italy. It was a weak and small organisation. There were maybe fifty men, most of whom were old or injured and I thought nothing of it. I would have left even if I didn't find fucking Nicolos Jones alive and well. But I can tell you one thing," I said before pointing to the photo of Lennard Giodarno. "That man loathes you with a fiery, burning passion. He told me he was planning something big so if the Kingdom grew, which we have reason to believe that it did, there is no reason why he shouldn't be our prime suspect."

I rolled my eyes at her. “I’m not sure. It’s probably just his dragon trying to show himself. They're very possessive and dominant creatures. I’m sure it was just making sure we weren’t a threat.” I mused. I began to slowly jog to keep up with Garren. His stride was almost twice the length of my own. He was well over six and a half feet tall. Making my five-foot, nine stature look tiny. Everything about him was huge. He looked like a small giant.

Annalise is 21 and in college with her two best friends and her sister. She is starting her last year off on a good start. She is one grade ahead of her average age. She is studying art and wants to be the best she can be. She is assigned a partner for her last big assignment, Theo Hyde. He is the guy she has had a crush on for years, but he is also her best friend's ex-boyfriend. She tries to focus on the project, but her feelings keep getting in the way.

He kills anyone who crosses us. He spends his free time with Katharina Nielsen, his mate. Mads Andersen sits at the big table with his computer. He is the Moon Treasury Keeper. He counts all our gold. "The Moonstone Relic House opens in one hour," Mads says. He does not look up.

I asked. " It's lost on me how you could defend a man who assaulted you like that. He-" I laughed, cutting him off. Did he really think I was worried about a complete stranger? " It's you I'm worried about. What if you go to prison? All those witnesses that were present will testify against you. " He chuckled as if what I had said was funny. " It's cute that you think that could happen. I am Don Nikolai. I run the streets and I control everything. Plus that club has a no phones rule. "
