My Hockey Alpha

My Hockey Alpha

The moonlight illuminated his soft features, which made my heart feel a little less broken for a moment. “You wanna sit with me?” I asked, gesturing to the spot across from me at the table. With a smile, James sat down and pulled out his books. I peeked over my laptop to see that he was reading a book on genetics. The cover looked old and dusty, and the pages were yellowed. He saw me looking and smiled.

Love this story. It is thrillingly mysterious. The love and lust is palpable. Some of it seems to be written a little immaturely. Maybe that's how the character arc was supposed to relay, and we feel them mature. There are also 2 chapters that are repeated almost verbatim. Otherwise,I'd give 5 stars

This book is so good! I love how complex it is. I’ve been reading it for the past two weeks and just finished it! I’m so sad and so badly hope the author is writing more chapters as I speak! I’ve had a lot going on in my life and head and this book has been the best to help! My bf is jealous of it!

I smirked and smoothly stood up, relieved that everything was back to normal and my dick would no longer be displayed to the whole class. "Uhmm... I... sorry, could you repeat the question? I wasn't paying attention." I said to Mr James. "Hey Mac, what's up with you? Why are you so unfocused lately? Mr James asked me. "One thing about Mr. James is that he can be like a guardian sometimes." Yeah, it's not shocking that he's not getting any younger. Time keeps moving for all of us. I complained, already getting annoyed by his conversations, "You didn't let me answer the damn question before you went full 'guardian' on me."

The Rise of the Betrayed Billionaire's Ex-Wife

“James! You’ve gone too far!” James sneered. “What? You want to be a hero, Will? Don’t act like this is any of your business.” William stood tall, still positioning himself in front of Olivia as if shielding her. “When you hurt someone else, it’s no longer just your business, James. This has crossed the line.” James crossed his arms, staring at Olivia with disdain. “Look at that, now you have a new protector. Perfect. You must be happy to have someone defending you.”

Three stars. However Good Novel hides the lower rated comments. If you decide to publish in English, the less you can do is have the basics ok. Constantly you change the pronouns he / she , his/hers, him/ her . That is primary school English. It’s carelessness and lack of professionalism.

Her Father’s Billionaire Best Friend

Her Father’s Billionaire Best Friend

“You were the informal back-channel?” James’s answer is a kind of confession. He explains stumbling through a world that still demands transactions and how he’d thought small favors could be a firewall. He insists he didn’t commission the staging, that he didn’t authorize patches, that he never told anyone to threaten or intimidate. He says he had meant only to whisper to men with suits: Find a way to make the inn safe. He says he told them no branding. No removing guardians. He says, the words cracking at the edges, that he was naïve enough to believe men with ledgers would keep bargains.

"But I prefer a space that feels inspiring, not intimidating." "It definitely is inspiring," I agreed, stepping further into the room. My fingers trailed across the spines of the books, drawn to a worn copy of "Pride and Prejudice." "You have quite the collection," I remarked. "Guilty as charged," James admitted with a smile. "I'm a bit of a bibliophile, I'm afraid." We spent the next few minutes discussing our favorite books, a delightful conversation that flowed effortlessly. James pointed out a first edition copy of Sherlock Holmes tucked away in a corner, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm as he shared the story of how he'd acquired it at a flea market.

He wrote little thoughtful notes in each card, especially Tres’s parents’ seeing as they were like a family to him, and finished up with their names on the front. Blakeney had been a bit harder. Having lived with him over the summer, James had realized there wasn’t much in the way of want there. Blakeney treasured two things: the Academy and books. Well, three things if you count James. But after talking to Arthur a few days ago in the library, he knew he had made the right choice. A leatherbound copy of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius went back into the box and was subsequently wrapped up, labeled, and placed into the completed pile. Matt and Christian were being given a high-end game con-

He did not require as much time out roaming or running. As we approached the large building I hurried James inside and as I got inside I set him up at the counter with a large snack working on his homework. As he worked on his school work, I pulled out several of my supernatural books and began my long research into the mystery of Roman. It had to be true. Romans complete history could all be explained by the stories that I had heard early on in my history of the supernatural world. I would need to question Adrik for sure as he was supposed to be the long distant relative of King Lycaon of Arcadia. Having completed as much reading as I could for the night I quickly went over James' work and

The Billionaire's Drunken Bride

The Billionaire's Drunken Bride

Love, Grandma Daphne" James read the letter twice, his throat tight. He missed his grandma so much. He wished she was here to help him figure all this out. He picked up the phone. It turned on with a soft beep. The screen showed three contacts: "Hawk," "Shadow," and "Shield." James wondered who they were. Friends of his grandma? Other "Guardians" like Rachel had talked about? He put the phone in his pocket. The gun he left in the box for now. He wasn't ready for that. James thanked Mrs. Chen and left the bank. His head was spinning with everything he'd learned. He needed to find a safe place to think and plan his next move.

Despite that, he could sense an explosive power within James’ body. The Guardian knew that James would be a challenging opponent. Instead of a confrontation, he clasped his fists and said, “I’m the Daemonium Sect’s Guardian. I’ve been ordered to hunt down an enemy. I suspect my target is hiding within this formation. How about you open the formation and allow me to perform a quick search? I’ll leave instantly if the person I’m looking for isn’t here.” “Haha!” James burst out laughing. “Ridiculous! I set up a formation here to cultivate, so how can I just let you enter as you please? Leave instantly, or I won’t hold back against you.”

It would also prove that Celestial City was safe. When James learned of Stephen’s plan to give a speech, he quickly reported it to the South Regent. The South Regent chuckled. “Is he trying to use the identity of the Grand Marshal’s mentee to prove that Celestial City is safe? Let’s see if he’s worthy to be called the Grand Marshal’s mentee. Send a few people to watch the speech.” James said, “Understood.” Two days later, the day of the speech arrived. What attracted people’s attention was a billboard on the stage. It showed a picture of Stephen in a sleek suit, looking charismatic, mature, and dependable.

Frequently Asked Questions

I recently checked out the reviews for 'James' on Goodreads, and they’re a mixed bag. Some readers absolutely loved the novel, praising its intricate character development and the way it delves into themes of identity and redemption. They found the protagonist’s journey relatable and the writing style immersive. However, others felt the pacing was slow, especially in the middle sections, and some found the ending a bit abrupt. A few reviewers mentioned that while the plot was engaging, it didn’t break new ground in the genre. Overall, it seems like a polarizing read—either you connect deeply with it or it leaves you wanting more.
