“In class, I presume,” Jamie said. “You are ten minutes late, you know?”
“Yeah… I know,” Ste said, hanging his head.
Looking at him, taking in his beautiful face and perfect smile framed by newly pink-dyed hair, Ste thought he looked like an angel. A beautiful, perfect angel. He wanted to throw himself at Jamie’s mercy and beg to be forgiven, but from experience knew it was hopeless. He’d already tried and failed miserably. Jamie might look like an angel… but he wasn’t particularly kind or forgiving. His personality was more demonic than angelic, at least when it came to Ste.
