After two years she will be free to get married to whoever she pleases. We sit in silence for some minutes before light footsteps are heard from the front door. A young lady in a maid’s attire with a luggage in her hand comes into view. She is soon followed by a lady clad in all black. She is also on a face cap but anyone could tell that she wasn’t a normal person because she carried a powerful aura. Emilia Peyton.

Drake was being serious about the work that Allen had given him seeing as he was being defeated in all ways. This was a pain to him, he just couldn't say it. He picked up his journal and a pen to start writing some of the things that he had noted about Jane. The first was that she had a mysterious background and it was confirmed to him that she wasn't a human...that was sealed already.

Mike, on the other hand, was an energetic, extroverted boy with an unquenchable thirst for adventure. Even as a young girl, Jane was more of an observer than a participant. She felt most at home in the world of words and illustrations, where she could unleash her creativity and express her feelings freely. Jane was an artist, and her canvas was her life. With her distinctive chestnut pigtails and reflective hazel eyes, she stood out from her peers, often finding solace in the quiet corners of the schoolyard, away from the hustle and bustle.

Grabbing the microphone, Anna lifted the book over her head. “Sorry to interrupt, but this is very important,” She said with Nate at her side. “I’m Anna Berger Steine of Steine and Steine Publishers in the U.S. and this is Dr. Nathanial Braverman, author of Vashti’s Daughter.” Many boos greeted them in response.

“Do you have a favourite Brontë sister quote?” Of course, I do, who didn’t? I nod, “‘I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will.’ ” Sebastian smiles at this, “Jane Eyre. Of course, that would be your favourite quote. You are known as The Rebellious Heiress.” He says, calling me the nickname my grandmother had bestowed upon me, and I smile sadly. “And yet here I am, in an arranged marriage because of duty. So much for being a free human with an independent will.”

I pick it up and notice that it has my name on it. Should I open it? I know it's not good to snoop around people's stuff but... at least I have to know what's in the box. I need to know. If it has my name, then it means it's meant for me. I carefully open the box and inside, I find a novel. 'JANE EYRE by Charlotte Brontë' Scott loved to read, alot. I bet he was going to surprise me with this novel later but... whatever happened, already happened. I will definitely read it.

Max mutters the last part, but still I heard it. "Like what," I ask already guessing what it might be. "Like killing that Vampire before presenting the case in our court" Li finishes for him. So I guessed it right. "I don't have an access card to go inside" I frown. How are they planning to go inside? Max hand over me an access card of a girl named Catharine. "It's my sister's card. She works here" she is pretty. "That means, you guys are not coming?" there is only one card here.

The one thing that she turns to when she needs an escape from her reality at the moment. “You must have something.” Gabe prombts her. “An old, worn out copy of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë that I keep in between my mattresses so that no one will find it and take it from me. Reading that book always brings me comfort.” And gives her hope. It makes her feel so much better to read it.

The chill autumn wind ruffled the man's wild black hair and pulled at his long, brown leather trench coat. The tall, handsome man didn't seem to notice the wind, nor anything else for that matter. Instead, his forest-green eyes were focused on a young woman sitting at a desk by a second-story window in the brick building of Northview High. Her black-crimson hair was pulled back into a messy bun with two pencils sticking out of it like hair chopsticks. She seemed bored and inattentive, her gaze wandering this way and that.
