Caroline muttered to herself. Patricia and Aurora were at the other side of the room, discussing with the Designer which gown Patricia should wear on her big day when they heard Caroline grumbling. “I will go help her” Patricia was about to get up but Aurora stopped her. “It’s your big day and you shouldn’t be stressing out. Let me help that old lady” Aurora got up. “I really wonder how Jane Doe does it all for Grandma” Patricia nodded acknowledging the same. Jane Doe was the only woman who had assisted Caroline in all her tasks without complaints. As Aurora made her way to Caroline, Patricia couldn’t help recall how Aurora was doing her level best to look after her.

“Miss Larsen, Mr. Austen will see you now,” the secretary said. Celine swallowed hard before standing up from the couch. She held her old portfolio close to her chest. Although the hall was warm, her hands were becoming cold because of nervousness. “Thank you,” she said, though her voice shook slightly due to anxiety. The double doors opened, and she saw the large office that had a clear view of New York City. At the far end of the room, Duke Austen was sitting behind his desk. After a moment of hesitation, she opened the door a little and peeped inside, when she saw no one, she opened it further and stepped in. Her gaze swept over the room once again, taking in its minimalist, yet elegant state. Everything was orderly, the bed was neatly made, and her eyes were drawn to the small bookshelf next to it. Curiosity got the better of her, and she found herself walking towards the bookshelf. “Jane Austen and R.L Stines,” she murmured as she ran her fingers along the spine of the books, “Interesting taste.” Her gaze landed on a picture frame wedged in between the books and her curiosity piqued further as she gently took it out.

After Flips finished collecting everyone's papers, she resumed discussing Allison's book and its relevance to life. Although I tried to pay attention, listening about Mrs. Darcy over and over again was becoming boring leading me back into my wonderous thoughts about why Brown walked out on me. Right- you might be wondering who Brown is.

Dave inquired “Just give me a second,” Jane Austen said picking up the phone, she dialed a number, after few beeps, the other person picked up, mumbled some words to her, and ended the call. “this way sirs!! Jane Austen led them to the top floor of the building, when they got to the office, she opened the door and usher them in, then she closed the door, and left them there.

•Isabelle's POV• For my first class of the day, which was also my favorite, we chose Pride & Prejudice to analyze passages from. We'd also be reading it this month for the objective. We were focusing on the 1800's and the flow of Jane Austen's words.
