Angel never imagined that Anne would occupy this room for a long time. "If I knew you were going to be here that long, I should have bought you a television." Angel's words were greeted by a shake of Anne's head. "I'm old, honey. My head will get dizzy if I watch television." Anne took out a book from her suitcase, then she gave it to Angel. This is no ordinary book. This is Angel's first novel. "Can you sign my book? I'm your number one fan." Angel blinked in disbelief. Her lips were also slightly parted because she was too shocked. Angel doesn't even know if Anne bought her book secretly. "Is this the help that mom meant earlier? Do you really want to ask for my autograph?"

Anne defends herself. “You are writing novels. Why don’t you pursue that?” I asked her. She told us that since college, she used to write stories. She shook her head. "I am too busy.” “But you have finished stories, right?” Iya asked. It's only been a week since I met Anne, and today was our first girl bonding, but we already know so much about each other. Well, I guess that is the girl's hidden talent. We catch up so fast, and we gather things so quickly.

I scanned my surrounding with my mouth wide open in excitement. As I stopped in front of one of the many shelves, I pulled out a green worn out a floral patterned novel from the section labeled old-time romance. My eyes enlarged when I noticed that the book was one of the first edition of Daphne du Maurier’s ‘Rebecca’. The book was in a good condition despite the outside appearance only hinting its growing age, I opened the mint-colored hardcover to reveal the first page of the book. ‘Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again....’

It could easily have been a school or a boarding school. Nathan's scent was in that hallway, so he assumed there must be something hidden there, but all he saw was an office. She went in, closing the door behind her. That place was the best place she had ever seen in her whole life, full of books and a lot of handwriting. She picked up the first book she found, and it was one of her favorites, only this was a first edition. She sat down on the nearest sofa and swung her legs up. The story takes place in rural England in the early 19th century.

She clasped her hands behind her back, fixed her eyes somewhere on the ceiling, and let loose her usual torrent of words. "I read a wonderful book called, Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Brontë. It was written in 1847, but the characters in the book are so real that you feel as if they're living today. When I read this book, I felt as if I were Jane Eyre, a lonely, friendless orphan girl sent away to a cold, cruel boarding school where all the other girls despise her."

Despite her large pregnant belly, she hurriedly ran across the garden without a second thought, arms outstretched like a small child. Bella was completely caught off guard. Before she could even react, Anne had enveloped her in a tight and excited hug. Bella blinked in confusion with her arms hovering awkwardly for a moment before she tentatively returned the embrace and was still unsure of how to handle the sudden outburst of affection. "Continue then." I held up my brief notes before facing my classmates. My eyes of course skipping the one in front of me. "Jane Austen's most infamous novel, 'Pride and Prejudice' was first published in 1813. The novel was well received by the citizens of Austen's age as it has all the fine details of writing. There is suspense, drama, unrequited love, pride and prejudices. The title of the novel perfectly depicts the story. The novel as everyone knows, is on the life of Elizabeth Bennett and her family. She was courted both by Mr Collins and Mr Darcy who she initially turned down. She turned down Mr Collins due to the fact that she felt nothing for him. Mr Darcy was turned down because of

she said, her tone still cold. I nodded, but a small sigh slipped out as I followed her downstairs. The house was quiet, almost too quiet. It felt like I was just going through the motions, each step mechanical. When we reached the living room, Hailey handed me a book from the pocket of her apron. It was Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. She placed it in my hands without a word, but I couldn’t help the bitter laugh that bubbled up inside me.

I pick it up and notice that it has my name on it. Should I open it? I know it's not good to snoop around people's stuff but... at least I have to know what's in the box. I need to know. If it has my name, then it means it's meant for me. I carefully open the box and inside, I find a novel. 'JANE EYRE by Charlotte Brontë' Scott loved to read, alot. I bet he was going to surprise me with this novel later but... whatever happened, already happened. I will definitely read it.
