I had begun to forget that I was in the club and there were people around me. “Jayden.” I heard Jane calling out to me but I didn't look up at her. “Jayden.” She called again but I didn't answer her. I was so immense in the chapter I was reading, I didn't want to lose focus. I love the emotions the writer used in this exact chapter. “Jayden.” She called out to me again. But this time around she held my hand. I looked up at her, I noticed she was staring at me but she wasn't smiling anymore.
