Trinity of Power

Trinity of Power

With a little more excitement in her voice, Bhakti says, “Neel. It means blue, but I just like the way it sounds.” “It’s worth thinking about,” Liam says and I nod. “And the last one is Jai. It means victorious.” Her voice is content at the end of her list. I stare at her. “Why didn’t you lead with that one? I love that!” “That’s the one. Definitely.” Liam nods his head in agreement. Bhakti flushes in pleasure. “That was my favorite! So now we just have to find a middle name for him.” She turns to Liam.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series. Your attention to detail and twists and turns have kept me on edge. I was disappointed Charlie died, but a good book doesn't always have a perfect ending. I can't wait for the new one, which I hope is any day now.

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“What is his full name, Haku?” “Komatsu Aru-sensei.” Haku answered. “I think it’s the kanji for small tree, umm, pine tree?” “Kanji?” Jai frowned. Haku nodded. “Our names have different kanji even though it sounds the same sometimes. Do you want to learn about it later?” Jai refused politely. “Ah, no. I just forgot about it.” What Jai said made Arata looked at him helplessly. Darrion immediately noted that while Jai thanked him. “Alright. Thanks. Is it okay if we ask you about him?”

The Night Known As You

The Night Known As You

" Close to what? Reading finish all of Flames's notes?" " Flames? Is that what you're calling Kaen now? Huh.. and I thought you only give dumb nicknames. Oh, wait! You do." " Haha very funny but Kaen's name actually means flames and Terry is just the front part of your name. I'm just saying it as it is." " Doesn't it mean passion? Like the flaming passion of someone?" " Does it matter? It's the same thing." " Hmm... Then how come Hikaru doesn't have a weird nickname?"

Bratva Wolves Collection

Bratva Wolves Collection

Kaen says, snapping me out of whatever trance his daughter has me under, and I look at him with a frown. “Romanised name?” I ask “Yes. Umiko seems plain to some, and I know certain Americans prefer English names, so we have given her one if you would prefer to use it. Marina, it has the same meaning as Umiko.” When he says this, I am taken back to Caterina’s vision a few months back: /“No, but I saw Marina,” “Who?” “Marina, your mate?”/ This is when I finally paid attention to the word my beast was uttering, and it chilled me to my very core. Mate.

Love all of this series. I can’t put the books down. I want more of Kaia’s story and Kon’s too. Definitely a great read. If I could put 10 stars I would. I’m really picky about ebooks and what I read but this whole series has kept me interested and captivated since I read the first few paragraphs.

Bound In Secrets

Bound In Secrets

Nobody hurts my babies and gets away with it. “I’m not sure, Hachiman. Anyone would be an idiot to not be friends with you. You’re so lovable.” I assure him and then cause him to squeal as I rub my face against his. Hachiman is the Japanese Shinto god of war, archery, divination, and culture. He is the patron of a warrior clan. My son earned that nickname from my uncle the moment he was born. He is a warrior who had to fight for his life being premature. He was born at 32 weeks with an underdeveloped heart and lungs. For two months he was in NICU. He is my powerful warrior.

The woman smiled and patted Ejima's shoulders. They had stopped in the middle and as they waited, the door by the far side opened, and people that were clothed with leaves started toward their direction. There were men and women, but the population seemed to be paired. “Is this?” “Yes,” The woman nodded, “Twice they say is a coincidence. But thrice is definitely a sign. So tell me…” the woman's brow folded inwards. “Ejima, my name is, Ejima” “Ejima” The woman nodded, “Tell me, Ejima, does this look like a coincidence?”

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

The most powerful man in Middle-East. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ NOTE : Aniki (Informal) This is a nickname for someone who seems ruder or more slang in Japanese dictionaries. Just like the word "Dude" in the English dictionary. Aniki are often used by the Yakuza clan, as if they were relatives, or friends. Where the kanji "Ki" refers to something valuable, important and honorable. See you 👋 LOVE ALL❤️

The Mafia's Dangerous Desire

The Mafia's Dangerous Desire

That stormy night, with thunder rumbling nonstop, had given her the idea. This time, she had chosen Ryuji, which in Japanese means “second dragon.” The name carried two meanings: he was their second son, and also the “second dragon” following Rayden, the first heir of the Lorenzo family. “A truly beautiful choice,” Madam Lorenzo said warmly, approving her granddaughter-in-law’s decision. “Welcome to the Lorenzo family, Ryuji,” Regis whispered to his newborn son. The baby squirmed in Liliana’s arms as if letting everyone know he liked the name his parents had given him.

The Blood Rose Lady

The Blood Rose Lady

Haunting because being able to witness with your eyes the moment your loved one took their last breath will forever be marked in your memories. After my Irish mother closed her very eyes, my African father gave me my second name. He told me that the name was derived from a Japanese flower, kind of resembling a tulip but more elegant compared to a usual one. Nadeshiko. He told me it had a silent “I” when you pronounce it. He told me that he named me after a flower because, despite my mixed races, my Irish side is still dominant. I don’t know but I kind of have this funny feeling that I sounded like a daughter of a boutique owner since my two names are both flowers.
