What the Don's Daughter Wants

What the Don's Daughter Wants

From years ago. The first time he saw me. In the library. I was carrying a stack of books and bumped into him. They scattered all over the floor. He helped me pick them up, smiling. "Hey, you sure read a lot." Sunlight streamed through the window, lighting up his face. Gentle. Clean. It was all a lie. All of it. So why did it still hurt? Three months later, Jason died on the streets of Italy. The news came while I was signing a multinational acquisition agreement.

Married to my Ex's Father: A tale of revenge

Married to my Ex's Father: A tale of revenge

A cold chill ran down Jason's spine when he saw her picture being displayed on the screen. "She's...dead?" He muttered. "No..." "He killed her; I know he did!" Jason curled his fingers into a ball. "Why does he have to kill her? She did nothing to him!" He roared, vibrating with anger. He couldn't peel his eyes off the screen and just kept staring at her. "Ruth Gonzales..." His body twitched when he read the name out loud. Jason wondered why his father would go after her and kill her; she had done nothing to him.

 Saving Grace

Saving Grace

Our comfortable silence in the room was broken by the ringing of Veer’s phone. He answered the call as his expressions changed from calm to angered then deadly. “I’ll be there.” “The car in which Rehan was taken has been in an accident. Police is guessing that Rehan is dead. They need to confirm it though.” His voice came out cold. While one part of me was relieved that my molester would not be able to get me ever but a huge part of me was sad. He did wrong but he did not deserve to die. And what would happen to his parents. The thought of Mama and Mami grieving over their only son put my spirits so low. About Veer, I was not sure.

A quality of writer is, he/she forced you to live the story, you start feeling as the characters are feeling I also felt the same, and still living in my mind. Good going, best of luck Manish Agarwal

Declared Dead, Replaced by a Fraud

Declared Dead, Replaced by a Fraud

Then she walked up to me, viciously grinding her foot into my wound, using my blood as ink to press down her handprint. After finishing all this, she revealed a cruel smile. "Let him go," she ordered the security guards before saying to me, "John, you know? Your look of despair was just like your mother's before she died. On the day I went to court to declare you dead, I deliberately delivered the good news to your mother. Who would have thought that she'd be so frail? She passed away due to a heart attack." Nora did not have an ounce of pity on her face, only provocation.

Obsession with his Captive

Obsession with his Captive

Being lying in the middle of a snakes pit while they bite you and unable to do anything is the worst feeling he have experienced. 'If there is another life for me, then I am sure I will be terrified of snakes for ten lives to come' he thought, regretting his actions from ten years ago. On the other hand, Jason was found dead the next morning by the asylum staff. His death was slow. His blood dripping out of his slit blood vessel. His eyes are sunken and wide open. "He committed a suiside? Too bad, Miss Johnson wanted us to torture him until he really goes insane" the doctor commented casually before leaving the room.

the police said. Jason laughed madly. Tears of regret slid from his eyes. Falling to his knees, he sobbed, "I'm sorry, Chelsea. I'm sorry!" Belated affection was worth next to nothing. The same went for a scoundrel's crocodile tears. All I wanted was for my corpse to be cremated and given the proper funeral rites. Jason seemed to sense my wish. He handed my corpse over to the police. Just when everyone thought Jason would surrender, he rushed to the window and jumped out, dragging Jean after him.

Seven Days to Forget

Seven Days to Forget

I asked him gently, "Sir, do we know each other?" Jason looked at me, stunned. Then, he looked at the happy family of three. After a long moment, he said dryly, "No, we don't." Then, he turned around and left. My husband and I looked at each other in confusion. Jason died three days later. He passed away at the train station. His body cowered in a ball. He did not enter the station, neither did he buy a ticket. No one knew where he wanted to go or where he came from.
