A Man with Nerves of Steel

A Man with Nerves of Steel

"Joseph, you're just a good-for-nothing who only knows how to pick on me! Your woman met a tragic end, and she might have even been murdered. If you actually have what it takes, go look into it and uncover the truth yourself!" Yasmin typed out the text, but in the end, she deleted the whole message instead of sending it to Joseph. The Yeagers were likely behind Grace's death, and the authorities above them had undoubtedly turned a blind eye. "What's wrong with me? What does Grace's death have to do with me? Do I really want to cross those big shots in the Yeager family for her? I still have my own life to live!"

"My sister is finally gone, I was only expecting her to get arrested and not to die." Mr Gilbert wiped loudly. Anthony embraced him in tears. Anthony stated in tears, Sonia patted Anthony's back and went to where Grace laid. The ambulance was called to the location.

Pleasing the Billionaire

Pleasing the Billionaire

Yes, Edward and Grace had taken care of him but he knew very well that a biological mother’s love was the best but Sylvia had denied him of that and he wasn’t ready to look past it. He slumped into one of the sofas in the living room as soon as he got to his penthouse. With his eyes closed, his thoughts revolved around all the information that had been dumped on him. To some extent, it was still unbelievable but he knew Grace wouldn’t pull such a prank on him. It had to be true. While he was still pondering on this, his phone rang. It was his cousin, Chase. But as soon as he answered the call, the news that greeted him had his heart instantly halting. “Grace is dead. She was involved in a fa

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

Mafia Men: Nikolai's Inferno

He walked around the hood and got into the driving seat, as we drove out of the parking lot. "Nikolai..." "Yes, baby girl?" "Who shot me?" "Grace's hitman." I suspected that it was her, well, now I know for sure. Grace belonged to a mafia family, of course, she won't back down without a fight. I just didn't expect her to react this fast, I mean, it hadn't even been twenty-four hours before she sent her hitman to kill me off. I ran a hand through my hair and cringed as they were all dirty and had dried-up blood in them. I passed out on the sidewalk and it was not pretty at all.

This mafia series is wonderful. Once you read it you'll understand how beautiful this series is. The plot is not like any other story. I keep re-reading this series, especially this book. I never regretted finding this book. Every character is well written. Nikolai is absolutely one of my favorites.

27 chapters read, the book is really addicting, although I am not a fan of very young innocent female leads. My second book from this author, the first one was the one with the mayor's wife. I must say I liked that one more, it was something different, many books have similar storylines, this one too

When we met again

I asked because it seemed like it was important for me to know. He looked at me like he was just seeing me, making me shift in my position. "Grace is dead, she's the victim of the alley murder." That was all I needed to swoon.

My Mafia Brother Gave Me to the Acid

My Mafia Brother Gave Me to the Acid

So, he really had brought the wolf into his own home, and gotten Grace killed. Even as her face turned purple, Betty was still smiling. "And that's not all." "Have you forgotten? For years, it was you who humiliated her for me, who threw her out of the house, who threatened her even on the day she died." "It felt so good. Watching you two turn on each other, watching you personally push her into the abyss." "Farrow, I didn't kill Grace. Neither did the acid." "It was you." "You killed her." Farrow's hand fell away. He staggered back a few steps.

Shattered Mate Bond

Shattered Mate Bond

My voice broke, and I had to stop, had to press my hand against my mouth to keep from screaming with the helpless terror of watching someone you love bleed out in front of you. *Love.* The word hit me like lightning. When had it become love? When had Jace Storm transformed from the man who destroyed me to the man whose potential death was tearing me apart from the inside? "What happened to Amber?" I asked, needing to focus on something other than the closed surgical doors and the uncertain fate of the man behind them. "After I got Jace stabilized, everything's a blur." "She's dead," Connor said from where he stood guard by the door, his tactical vest still showing scorch marks from the battl

Rah demanded as he too rushed to her, and sat on his knees in front of her. “Grace…” Mila sobbed as she too fell to her knees and faced Rah. “My Grace, Rah…” and Mila hugged Rah, who hugged her back, exceptionally worried. “What happened to Grace, Mila?” Rah asked, now dead scared. “Raul Collins poisoned her, Rah,” Mila sobbed in his shoulder. “Raul Collins killed my Grace.”

A Mate and A Betrayal

A Mate and A Betrayal

She stayed away from me. “Who betrayed us? Did you find who tried to kill me?” I ask remembering her mention of a pack member betrayal. She nodded, “It was Tanya’s mother, Grace.” My eyes widened in shock. Aiden said Grace was kind and nice towards me and Barbara. “Grace,” Barbara exclaimed loudly. “I cannot believe she would do such a thing,” she whispered softly. “You would have believed if I said I did it,” Caroline said with a humor that did not reach her eyes.

Mga Madalas Itanong

Grace by Paul Lynch is one of those books that lingers in your mind long after you turn the last page. Set during the Irish Famine, it follows a teenage girl named Grace who’s forced to disguise herself as a boy to survive after her family abandons her. The prose is hauntingly beautiful—Lynch writes with this raw, poetic intensity that makes every scene feel like a punch to the gut. The way he captures starvation, desperation, and the blurred lines between good and evil is unforgettable. It’s not an easy read, but it’s the kind of story that etches itself into your soul. I found myself thinking about Grace’s journey for weeks, especially how resilience and cruelty coexist in such dire circumstances.

What really struck me was how Lynch doesn’t shy away from the brutality of the era, yet there’s this strange, almost biblical grace (no pun intended) in the way Grace navigates her world. The supporting characters, from predatory men to fellow outcasts, add layers of tension and humanity. If you’re into historical fiction that doesn’t sugarcoat the past, this is a masterpiece. Just be prepared to feel utterly wrecked by it.
