I stood there for hours, praying to die. Until my neighbor, Mr. Collins, came in the morning to look for Jack. I don't remember exactly what happened. I remember waking up the next day in the hospital. I hated the fact that I was still alive and Jack didn't. I wanted to die more than anything. They had killed my whole life. One shot changed everything. One night changed my life completely. It took more than 6 months before I was able to shake off the incident. I had nightmares every night.

"Not the version for the court. The one you would tell me if it were just us." It is just us. It is always just us when the door closes. The truth is that I died. I bled out on the ballroom floor of my own home three years into a marriage I believed was love, and the man who put the blade in me was the one I was about to name this morning. The truth is that something in the darkness heard me asking and sent me back, and I woke up in this bedroom with every memory intact and forty minutes before the ceremony. I cannot tell him that.

The moment Jenny saw him, she yelled, "Stop with your act! You were the one who caused all this! It was all your fault for posting those photos! You were the one who forced Christine into despair!" Jason did not get mad at all. As if consoling himself, he said, "I've already deleted those photos. No one will post them anymore. I have money. I can send her to a better hospital and hire the best doctor. I can help her get treatment." Jenny wiped her tears as she yelled, "What's the point in deleting those photos? It's too late now. You pushed her to her death. What's the use of having money? You can't save her anymore."

Richard buries his head in shame as he can't process what he had just seen. He rushes out to his room. Jason is discomposed. His eyes are filled with tears just as my eyes were, when I was his wife. Indeed, it's time to take revenge.

Elijah asked. "no, I haven't." I said softly, and smiled under his praising gaze. "Well, my biggest thanks to you both for saving my life." Jason said and exhaled deeply, "but you know what? I really do feel like my insides are falling apart. So if I do die, please bury me among my ancestors." Jason said, and I guess he expected that to be funny, but neither Elijah nor I laughed. "That's not funny , Jason." I said and examined my wound.

But I couldn't even feel sorry for her—not her, who tried so hard to make my life a real hell. “Is she really dead..?” I asked Jason, still in a somewhat eager voice. I wasn't believing it, I wasn't believing that it had really come to an end. After all that confusion that had happened so recently, it was normal for me to think that I was still under threat from Kendall. “She's really dead, yes, my love, this has come to an end,” Jason replied, placing a kiss on my forehead. I hugged him and cried profusely, thanking God that I was finally free now.

The disappointment was clear on her face; the moment Jessica spotted her, she knew that Jordan did not let her in. "He's not going to shut you out forever... don't worry. Give him a couple of days," Jessica told Aubrey, who just nodded in response. "Anyway, you look tired. Get some rest. Trust me, we all need it," Aubrey mumbled as the two of them rested their bodies on Jessica's queen-sized bed. I remembered with a pang of guilt how I had once wished him dead in some awful way.

Yvette followed along because Jason was worried someone would target her. In the car, Jason said, “I have something to tell you. Guy is dead.” Kayson was astounded. “He’s dead?” Jason nodded. “Hmm, it’s said that he got in an accident from drunk driving.” ‘He’s murdered to prevent him from divulging secrets, and that is really merciless. However, a man like him deserves to die because there’s no telling how many evil deeds he committed by taking advantage of his position and power.’ Jason said, “On the other hand, we found a few other doctors with unclear backgrounds, and they have all been gotten rid of.”

Jason went upstairs after Grandpa had left for his room and found his elder brother and younger sister, both crowded around their mother who was still wiping tears from her eyes, in her room.
