Jason smiled. "I can try to get it. Then you can wear the mask to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony without having to worry about being exposed."

His brows raised and he formed a smile on his flawlessly handsome face before walking toward him "Jason, Are you here to get the new release too?" Jason had a mask on his face at the moment, probably avoiding the attention of his fans who might be around. I stood beside Austin and cleared my throat to wake up the celebrity who had lost his composure "Jason said he knows someone up here that can help you get the new release," I took the initiative to explain.

His eyes lit up, and he ran over. “Holy moly, Etan! You are wilder than I thought. This is so blatantly wild. Who did this? It couldn’t be Anne, right? I could feel it through the thin crimson silk barely covering my body as I adjusted my position, making sure every angle was perfect. The jeweled mask sat secure against my face, catching the low amber light, hiding everything that mattered while showing everything that didn't. My red hair fell in waves over my bare shoulders. No brown wig or oversized cardigan swallowing my curves tonight. Tonight, I was Nyx, and Nyx didn't hide.

I stepped into the shower, took a quick bath and went back to the room. I stood in front of the bed and stared at the clothes on the bed with a frustrated look. Left with no choice, I picked up a navy-blue suit and decided to wear it. I dressed into the suit, put on my shoes and wore a navy-blue mask which covered every part of my face. I stared into the mirror and noticed all parts of my face were covered up except for the tiny gaps in my eyes and lips. Inhaling deeply, I combed and gelled my hair before spraying some spray and perfume. I went for my wristwatch, put it on and went for my phone.

We move to the tables to make our hair and faces match our outfits. Izzy pulls my mask from her drawer, the one rule I always had. My face had to be covered. My family could not find out I was here and they dealt plenty with sleazy men. The masks leaves my mouth open, but covers the top half of my face. "You girls ready?" Thomas asks from the door when he peeks in. "Holy fuck. I don't think I'm ready. You two are delicious."

She frowned, lifting her gaze to the mysterious figure dressed in black clothing from head down to toe and a nose mask covered his nose and mouth, leaving just his eyes to view. “Who are you?” As she finished her question, the man raised his hands pushed the hoodie cap off his head, and pulled off his nose mask. “What the fuck, Jason.” The name left her lips in a hiss of disgust and disbelief. “The fuck? This is what being fucked means.” He pointed to the wounds on his body and face that he was yet to heal from Caspian’s brutal beating. “You never learn. You were asked not to come close to me again.”
