“He offered me the Iron Man.” "Excellent. So it's your brother's toy, not yours. The most you can do is ask him to lend it to you so you can play with it,” Jason said, handing Daniel the toy. “And if he doesn’t want it, we’ll buy you one like it, darling,” I added, petting the boy. “No, I want this one! Give it to me,” he demanded, wanting to take the toy from his brother's hands. The mess and the screams began again.

My stomach twisted with nausea. “What is this place?" I asked, forcing a smile. “It’s the Play Room. I made it just for you,” Jason said as he closed and locked the door. “Was our bedroom not secure enough?” I questioned. “I wanted a place where we could be alone without anyone interrupting us,” Jason explained. He walked over to the table and picked up the first item: a leather whip. He held it up for me to see. "I want you screaming my name all night.”

Although Poppy was confused about this handcart, she still went to the back of the yard. And sure enough, Poppy saw a handcart there; she didn’t know when Jason had gotten it. Without wasting any time, Poppy pushed the cart forward. Poppy thought they were going to use this cart to carry all the items for the kiosk. “Jason! I’ve brought the cart!” Poppy shouted quite loudly. “Great!” Jason looked excited. Together with Lily, Jason began loading their belongings into the cart. Since they had to carry the stove, Jason had no choice but to build the cart to help him.

Jason: “It’s not just a lot. It’s a canvas. I bought it.” Leah blinked, stunned. Leah: “You bought… this?” Jason (nodding): “I want to build something here. A youth foundation. A place for kids to come and learn. Coding, engineering, art — anything that lets them build instead of destroy. A place where they don’t have to choose the streets or the gangs. A place where they can create a future that isn’t dictated by someone else’s power.” Leah’s breath caught. Leah: “Jason… why here?”

The truth was that he had no desire to be there and not one bit, but his father had dragged him there, he had never really approved of his modelling career and he wanted Jason to take over the business. Jason couldn't care less about house hold electronics, that was what his father dealt with, and all Jason's life his father has bombarded him with his toys, with hope that Jason would come to love them, it seemed that it was for that sole reason that Jason had no interest in it.

The hallway stretched ahead with sleek, dim lighting, and I could already smell something soft and sweet like sandalwood and bergamot. Jesse led me down the hall, past minimalist art and silent doors, until we reached a set of double doors. We entered and I sat on a velvet couch that probably cost more than my life. Jesse stood in front of me, with his hands in his pockets, looking like he owned the sky. I was still trembling. “Why did you bring me here?” I asked. “And why did you do that just now?” He smirked. “Because I hate liars and maybe because I’m a kind person.”

"Congratulations, Harriet Underwood! You've won a horse plushie. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!" Startled, I froze in place. A hint of impatience flickered across the emcee's face. She shoved the plushie into my arms and forced me offstage. The cheap plushie in my hands felt rough to the touch, and the price tag hanging on its back still read five dollars. I recalled what was written on the slip earlier and knew I hadn't misread it. I was about to go onstage to explain when thunderous applause broke out across the hall. "Congratulations, Katie Thorpe! You've won first prize this year—a three-day trip to Marosa!"

"Hey there, guys! Woah! They look so much like you." "I know right. " Merida chuckled. " Are you mummy's friend? " Jason asked him. "Yes, I am your mummy's friend." Jordan replied the boy. "Are you cool?" Jason asked again. "Yes I am. I promise to buy you some awesome gifts soon! Maybe some new action figures for you, Jason and a new Lego set for Jared?" " Do you like Superman?" Jordan asked. " Ironman!" Both boys squealed. "Very well, then, Ironman action figures it is." Jordan smiled at them. They were just so cute.

"Hey, buddy! I've got a special gift for you from my trip. Guess what it is?" Aaron's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and he started to bounce up and down in Jackson's arms. "I don't know! Tell me! Tell me!" Jackson chuckled and set Aaron down, pulling out a small, colorful package from his pocket. "Okay, okay. I got you a special toy from the city I visited. It's a little robot that can move around and make sounds." Aaron's eyes went wide as he took the package from Jackson, tearing off the wrapping paper to reveal the toy inside. "WOW! Thank you, Jackson! I love it!"
