Cassandra's POV I looked at Ana with an exasperated expression wanting her to just say what she wanted to and get out of my home. "Well, I'm listening," I urged when she just kept on staring at me and laughing. "Jason is not an ordinary werewolf, Cassandra, in every way," she muttered and I rolled my eyes. "How does that matter to me?" I huffed. "Take her out now!" I ordered and the guard began dragging Ana out, now having the full permission to manhandle her.

Zara craved the solace that only Jason's presence could provide, the comfort of his embrace that could temporarily alleviate the weight of her worries. Jason, sensing her unspoken desires, nodded in understanding. He respected her need for silence and the solace of their shared intimacy. With a surge of exhilaration, Jason effortlessly lifted Zara onto his broad shoulders, the wind playfully tugging at her hair and clothes as they moved with swift speed. Within moments, their journey came to a halt, and Jason gently set her down, her feet landing on solid ground. Zara took in her surroundings, her eyes widening in awe as Jason's words reached her ears.

Jason at this point was paradoxically two things, a saviour and a thing to worry about. Miraculously, Jason popped up. He was one of the boys she had come to trust with a pinch of salt at school. His brother, Jesse, was simply a ruthless bully, a chauvinist of being Alpha and fancier of class. He ruled the low-class with a heavy hand and they were not strong enough, so they suffered. There was something in Jason after all, something vaguely akin to method in his brother’s overwhelming madness.

Still, she couldn’t help the large smile that had captured her lips. The man came up to Kihara to treat a few of his injuries. Kihara smiled at him. Adult wolves were smarter than Juveniles. “You fought well.” He shrugged but returned her smile. “Gotta be better.” Kihara learned his name was Jason. When she told him her name, he gave her funny look and said. “I know. Everybody knows. You’re going to be our future Luna.”
