Jasper groaned as I jumped on his back and wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt scared. I looked around us and I couldn't see anything but huge tall trees. Jasper kept taking turns after turns saying we were almost there. Two things were running through my mind. One I kept thinking about the movie wrong turn and how we were gonna end up mutilated. And two, his sweat mixed with his body spray and shampoo were making me horny again. After thirty minutes, Jasper finally put me down and panted. He was right. The waterfall was majestic. It was hidden behind all the big trees in the middle of the woods.

Now, she’s back, claimed by Kai as his luna. When my spies at the Alpha’s residence told me that the valerie who snuck into Ashville was the same one Kai brought here ten years ago, I didn't believe it. But my sources have always been trustworthy. Besides, Valerie said it to Lady Juliet herself. That old hag. She never lets me have my way, but once a stranger like that wench came into the territory, she readily accepted her without second thoughts. “Why do you despise her so much, Jasper?” I asked the teenage boy before me. “She seems like a good person. If Kai wants her as his Luna, shouldn’t you support him just like the others are doing?”

Everest looked sharply at Gabriel and nodded. “I will find the reason for Black Canis to come to our place, Alpha." Jasper took a deep breath, then turned to leave. He doesn't like being in the same room as Gabriel, whom he thinks is the most cunning and hypocritical creature. Jasper chose to leave early from the tender process rather than have to see his competitor's face. "Oh, one more thing: I want to buy Eva a beautiful bouquet. Don't human women like flowers?” Jasper was still chatting with Everest. Everest smiled, then nodded.

"Jasper is the CEO of Everest Group. You want to casually push through a contract with Everest Group like this? Don't you think that's just ridiculous?" Renee was fuming. She raised her hand to press her forehead and tugged at her red volunteer vest; she was both sweltering from the heat and burning with rage. "What's ridiculous about it?" Adam snapped, annoyed by her resistance. "Jasper's the heir to the Zeller family. A collaboration like this is no big deal for him. As long as he's in the mood, he'll sign!" Then, he added with a warning, "Jasper is resting in the lounge on the third floor. Go to him now!"

As they sat on the living room couch talking Elleanna asked about Jasmine’s job. “Oh, I work for a bakery. I sell all the goodies. Jasper he decorates….Actually we are looking for a new baker if you are interested?” Elleanna nodded and smiled. “I would, like that very much.” She said with a smile. The door opened then and Jasper walked in. Jasper was 6 Ft 9 in height, had soft creamy skin, green eyes, dark brown hair, and glasses. He was wearing a simple black button down shirt and black jeans, with black non-slip tennis shoes. He smiled as he saw the girls then gasped at how Elleanna looked. She gulped and introduced herself.

Most people were bundled up in their houses, but it was nice to see a few out and about. Drake walked into the gym and pulled his cap off, shaking it out and shivering. His allergies were gone, and life could resume as normal. He'd just have to remember to take something before going back to the girls’ house, or talk Sicily into staying with him out at the cabin until the tree was gone. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" Violet smiled and stood from behind the desk. "Jasmine said you guys hired the young guy that came in yesterday."

It is some sort of fragrance that drove them out of their mind. Ferum Valley. It is a valley located on the west within the Ompus wilderness filled with poisonous inhabitants. Deep within this valley, there's a cave. Strangely, a radius of about four meters around the cave, except for some lush trees and grasses, no sign of life can be found.

Above us stretched a sky that wasn’t night — pale and shivering, filled with faint, floating lights like drifting stars. We stood at the edge of a vast cavern, the river now a thin ribbon of silver winding through grass that glowed faintly underfoot. Strange flowers pulsed with soft light in clusters along the rocks. Cassian whistled low. “All right. I’ll admit it — that’s beautiful. Creepy as hell, but beautiful.” Malachai’s expression had gone distant, awed. “The Spirit Vale,” he murmured. “I thought it was legend.” Vale’s jaw tightened. “Legends are born from truth.”

He wasn’t moving. Vale grabbed my wrist. “We need to go.” “What—what just happened?” “Later.” He pulled me through a side door into a narrow hallway that smelled like rust and rain. My legs felt like jelly, but fear was stronger. Outside, the storm hadn’t let up. Rain hammered down as we ran through the alley, puddles splashing under our shoes. I could barely keep up with him. “Who was that?” I shouted over the rain. “Division agent.”

Keller’s POV “Jas, where are you now?” I make a hard left as we get closer to town. “I’m outside the gate of this community called Crystal Lake. It's to the south, about twenty minutes outside of town. Zara said she wanted to go to the hospital here. The medic said they are familiar.” I’ve never heard Jasper sound so worried in my life. “They let the ambulance in, but they wouldn’t let me past the front gate.” “Yeah. We know where it is. It's a private community with their own hospital. Mom has friends there. Just wait for us. We'll get you in.” The light turns red, forcing me to brake hard. “Thank you, Jasper.”
