He looked at her with a stony face, Alissa heard gasps behind her “Lies!” Natalie interjected

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this case is straightforward." He began pacing slowly. "The defendant had both motive and opportunity. She was actively searching for the deceased on the night of his death. She was the last known family member attempting to locate him and it is well known that she ran away from her home at an early age." He looked towards my direction. "And before the end of this trial, we shall prove beyond reasonable doubt that Dr. Karma Kuntz murdered her father." He returned to his seat. "The State calls Mr. Viktor Schneider." A middle-aged man in an expensive charcoal suit approached the witness stand. He took the oath before sitting.

I sat as I stared at her waiting for her to tell what was so important that she made me forfeit my ice cream. "Marco Leonardo is a killer like you. Not a killer but unlike the other people who send you to do their dirty work, Marco does his by himself. Unless he is busy, then he sends his right-hand man to finish the job" she finished and released a long held breath. "Why are you telling me all this?" I said clearly pissed off. "Because he won't hesitate to kill you if you make a funny move" Kill me? Does this woman know how many people have tried to kill me but ended up dead?

Jax asked even though he had a hint of what was coming next. “We get rid of her. Kill her off. If she isn’t of any use we cast them away but if she has become a nuisance then we wipe them off the face of earth,” he said repeating their motto that they lived by. “Yes, I’ll send someone to get rid of her,” Jax said, ready to leave when suddenly Alastor was struck by an idea. “No, wait.” His evil brain was churning at a thought that would make the death a lot more painful for the ex-assassin.

“What are you doing here?” “I came to fucking see you,” she said, and I scoffed, raising the knife to dig it again. She cried out and shook her head, and I raised an eyebrow as I kept my eyes on hers. “I needed your help, my family has assigned an assassin to kill me and that assassin killed Joseph.” “You said that you were rejected.” I said, and she shook her head.

With just those two words, he made me freeze on the spot. “What?” I asked as I wanted to make sure that I heard him right. “What did you just say?” The witch doctor shifted in his seat, leaning back and fixing me with his eyes. “I worked for Lord Tyrelle and his pack. And there was something that struck me as odd. People in the pack are calling you lady Killer Smile.” “What about it?” Even though my voice sounded fixed and confident, my heart was pounding rapidly inside my chest. A small part of me was hoping that there I might find something as to why my smile ended up this way.

One could tell that as SAKI responded, he was bowing his head wherever he was. The tiger in Jared was beginning to find expression.
