I finally sat on the bed, looking at her. “You’re pretty big,” I observed. Athena seemed to shrink and then it was my mom, again. “We don’t usually shift inside the house because our wolves are big,” she said. “Athena is actually a normal size. Jenna and James have much larger wolves because they are Alpha and Luna.” She sat on my bed and patted the bed. I climbed up and sat next to her. I decided to ask the question I really wanted to know. “Do I have a wolf inside me, too?”

My hair stood on end as I kept getting more and more afraid. The Luna not of this world shall walk among you. Where she treads, bonds will shatter, kings will fall, and the land shall know only ruin. What the fuck? I’m not cut out for that! Obviously, I know all there is to know about werewolf lore, but that doesn’t mean I’m cut out for this crap. I need to get out of here. Someone, anyone, get me out of here! I racked my brain for any probable solution. The book would take far too long to decipher, and even then, it may turn out to be useless. The only person who seemed to know how to read it disappeared. How was I supposed to find her?!

I know my capabilities and yet, someone died. I gently let go of Quinn’s body and let my body shiver. With my hands now covering my face, I let out a silent cry for a friend who never left my side until the end. “Did you see the one who did this?” I asked Rendall as I am looking around the forest. “I saw it ran,” Rendall slowly replied. “Where?” “Domlur.” I move my gaze to the path going to Domlur. I suddenly felt the urge to slash everything on my way, my eyes never felt clearer and my hatred for these werewolves becomes greater.

In an instant, the girl's small physique shifted into a large wolf—not just any wolf, but a silver one.

"I'll kill you first, then I'll kill her" "I do enjoy a challenge",Jenna said with an evil smile. "Shall we begin?". They were about to shift into their wolves and lunge at each other when Serena raised her hand and they were suspended in mid air. "YOU DO NOT HARM WHAT'S MINE!",Serena raged in numerous voices. "YOUR SOUL SHALL BE CURSED AND TRAPPED IN THE UNDERWORLD!". She closed her fist tightly, bringing the excruciating dark pain over them. Jenna screamed as she felt her body wracked with pain. There was a ball of lightening within her and the moment it broke out, Jenna's body exploded.

As she eagerly await Ed her grandfather to respond, there was a commotion at the entrance. The werewolf queen arrived and the Reynolds heaved sighs of relief. Summer Reynolds, the queen Luna, has well known magical powers. Seeing her arrive, they felt that everything would be perfect again. In their excitement, no one paid any heed to Aria or Henna. They rushed into the operating room without sparing them a glance. "Damn, these wolves! They are so conceited! Do you think they will even let Summer try to heal Jerry? What do we do, baby?" Henna gnashed her teeth in anger but could only soften when addressing her baby girl.

I tell him, before I start running to hide, pulling Issac along with me. Issac and I find a spot behind a bush and sit down, waiting. “So, did you learn anything from this book?” I ask and he nods. “Maybe.” He pulls the book out of his back pocket and starts going through the pages. The wolf senses and light from the moon making reading in the dark, while still hard not impossible. He stops at a page and shows it to me. “Apparently, if this book knows anything real, there’s like a whole pack ran by a golden wolf. Like even now, the golden wolf is like their Alpha.” He explains and I take the book to read over it.

I accused, my voice trembling with hurt and betrayal. Drake's anguished cry pierced the air. "No, Yvonne, I would never betray you like that. I swear it," he pleaded, desperation evident in his voice. I stared at him, disbelief mingling with the pain in my heart. "Then how? How do you know about werewolves and vampires?" I demanded, my voice barely above a whisper. With a heavy heart, Drake approached me, his expression filled with sorrow. "I know who you are, Yvonne Brooks. The daughter of Arthur and Catherine Brooks, the heiress of the Moonlight Pack. I know that you're a werewolf," he confessed softly.

Footsteps echoed behind her, slow and deliberate. She whirled around, her eyes narrowing as she spotted Jessica emerging from the shadows, a smug smile on her face. "So, you really are a werewolf," Jessica sneered, her voice dripping with mockery. "Dominic must care for you quite a bit to keep a secret like that." Summer's heart skipped a beat, but she forced herself to remain calm, meeting Jessica's gaze head-on. "And you must be desperate to bring it up," Summer replied, her voice steady.
