Alpha Kai
he states, flinging the journal down on the bed and looking at me as if his world was ending.
“What is it?” I ask, glancing towards the offending journal, then back up at him while frowning.
“It sounds to me like you met the Moon Goddess, Tiarin, in those woods,” he answers with anxious eyes, but I laugh at the preposterous suggestion.
“No one knows what our Goddess looks like. It’s not like she appears to us every day,” I say, rolling my eyes at his words.
“Besides, why would she appear before me? I am no one special,” I say. Kai then chuckles and stares at me.
