Let's Be Together (book 4)

Let's Be Together (book 4)

“I agree wholeheartedly, Your Grace.” * * * * Lindsay stood next to Barry in front of a clergyman as he read out of the Book of Common Prayer. Her grandmother had told her she’d be nervous today, but Lindsay wasn’t. Excitement ran through her veins, and she couldn’t stop smiling. Love blossomed inside of her, and each new day with Barry would only be an adventure, she was certain.

Wrecking My Husband

Wrecking My Husband

I giggled. "I think I'll read it too then." "You should. What's the next book?" "ENTER THE DRAGON by CLIVE CUSSLER." All the books were marked with a white X by the side so they were easier to find and place side by side. "Finally. YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN by JEAN HAFF KORELITZ." "That one's deep." All the books had one thing in common: they all had sprinkles and bits of thrillers in them.

The voice repeats, “Learn it, live it, love it!” She pulls the book to her chest and hugs it tight. Tonya voice startles her, “Hungry?” She yelps, humps, and spins around. Tonya starts too hard, “What's got you so startled?” Jolene hands her the book. She looks it over and reads the introduction to herself. Her eyes go wide and she fist bumps Jolene. She starts to walk away with the book. Jolene chases after her and Tonya jokingly picks up her pace, trying to catch her.

The Gangleader and Me

The Gangleader and Me

It clung to the plastic, the metal, even the tires—ensuring that no matter how much he tried to clean it, he’d be finding glitter for weeks. For the final touch, I pulled out a small sticky note and pressed it onto the windshield. "Good luck getting the glitter off." Just as I stepped back to a distance, I heard the first wave of gasps. A few students had started gathering, whispering and pointing, some already pulling out their phones. A grin tugged at my lips. Slinging my bag over my shoulder, I turned and strolled away before anyone could tie me to the scene. Within minutes, laughter and murmurs spread across campus like wildfire as the crowd around the lot grew.

Dirty Christmas

Dirty Christmas

Her voice was soft, laced with the fatigue of long hours, but her hazel eyes held a spark, loneliness, maybe, or the unspoken crush she'd harbored since her teens, watching him command the elves with quiet strength. Behind him slunk in Jingle, his head elf, 28 and sharp-featured with pointed ears twitching under his red cap. Lean and wiry from scampering across rooftops, Jingle's green eyes locked on Dory with a hunger he'd hidden for months. He was no innocent sprite; years of pranks and late-night fixes had toughened him, but Dory's laugh during shifts softened him, made him dream of more than toys. "Let us help," Jingle said, stepping closer, his voice a playful lilt edged with need. He g

CURSED BLOOD TO ASHES

CURSED BLOOD TO ASHES

And once I found it, wounded and weak, its eyes already changing colours and life almost draining out of it, my heart had clenched. And so I crouched low to its level, brushed my fingers over it and with much gentleness, I carried it to my hands like it were some child before I walked over to a low pavement I could climb. I laid him down gently and then sat beside it before I opened the book in my hands to read. It was titled, “SPELLS AND CHANTS.” As one of my best books, I never stopped reading it and to my younger self, it felt very useful, although many thought of it as fiction.

TWO to TANGO, ONE to TEMPT (BOOK THREE)

TWO to TANGO, ONE to TEMPT (BOOK THREE)

No alcohol this time. “We know this part, but never brought anyone here,” Carl said, glancing at me. Caleb nodded, “We’re waiting to bring you here,” He then reached into his pocket, pulled out a small box, and placed it gently on the table before me. My heart leaped as I watched, intrigued and curious. My lips formed an O as Carl opened the box, revealing a delicate necklace. It was beautiful, adorned with three intertwined initials—C, S, and C—crafted in elegant script. “It’s beautiful.”

Ex-husband Wanted an Open Marriage With My Sister

Ex-husband Wanted an Open Marriage With My Sister

“Aunt Rita said that.” Jenny’s fingers tightened around the drawing paper. The paper made a “rustling” sound under her fingertips. The crayon colors left rainbow-like stains on her fingerprints, which glowed faintly in the gray light. She opened her lips, moved her tongue around in her mouth, and swallowed. Her Adam’s apple moved up and down, and the muscles in her throat contracted, producing a slight “gurgle” sound.

JACK and JILL

JACK and JILL

I heard her asked me slowly after many minutes of awkward silence. I shut my eyes as the memories of that day engulfed me. We have been the only one in the jet that day on our way to her father's anniversary. We have made series of love with a lot of kisses. It's a wonder she never get pregnant at our lustful acts. I open the book i was holding , pretending to be interested in it. I stare at the pictures of the models there and i flinched when i saw Jill's picture. I smile absently Tracing her face with my thumb.

Reckless Renegades Lilly's Story book 2

Merigold just shakes her head and walks out the door. When I get to the playroom the boys are sitting on the floor with a pile of trucks and cars. Jax looks up “ Lilly I need a song.” I sit on the floor in front of them. “ O, you do?” Jace answers “ Yes and me too.” This is something we started a few months ago when we were singing along to a movie together. Now they like me to sing to them often. “ Ok. What kind of song?” Jax thinks about it for a minute, “ Halla from Sing.” I know the one he is talking about. So while we play with the cars I sing Hallelujah from Sing for them. Lug Nut
