These boys aren’t known for their originality, after all, and it is one hell of an effort to remember a woman’s name, huh? Zoe swallowed her sigh, and stayed focused on being polite. These strangers had just done her a massive favor, and they hadn’t done a single goddamn thing to hurt or offend her. Reminding herself to dial down the bitch vibe, she shook the second man’s hand now, offered him a small smile. “I’m Jinx,” he said, his green eyes somehow cool and sultry at the same time. She stared into them, feeling like she was looking at a crisp, sunny spring morning. “We’re glad you’re here. Maybe you’ll do me the honor of doing my next tattoo?”

Beggar “Someone, and before we know it, the entire Clubhouse would know.” Hearing Jo's sneakers skidding on the floor, I get up off my chair as she comes running into the bar area holding two cupcakes instead of the muffins. They don't have frosting on it as yet, but these are the red ones, my favourite. “Thanks kid.” I take the one and wink at her, as I take a big bite. Jo bites into hers too, the kid is cute.

Benji was to my back and kissed my shoulder while he offered me the chocolate chip cupcake. "I'm saving myself for my honey bun bun." I grinned and thank him for the cupcake, then let out a delicious moan as my teeth sink into the moist chocolaty heaven. Jacqueline was quick to comment while scrolling on her phone. Ben laughed, taking off the apron and placed the fresh batch of cupcakes. I answered and then got in line. "Hello.." A woman's voice. "Is this the Z-Cupcakes?" I moved my phone to my right ear and then moved forward in line. "Yes, Ma'am. This is the Z-Cupcakes." "I saw your page on F******k and I suddenly craved cupcakes. I want to order two boxes of cupcakes. Is it okay?" asked the woman on the other line. "Yes, Ma'am. What flavor do you want? I also want to know your address for delivery. You can just put it in your text or email—"

You’re all making a big deal out of nothing.” Xavier laughed—a sharp, mocking sound that cut through the room like a blade. “*Cupcakes?*” he repeated, his voice dripping with disbelief. “Mr. Santiago, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. This isn’t just some baked good you can pick up at the corner bakery. The precision, the artistry, the balance of flavors—this is nothing short of culinary *genius*. I angled the cupcake to the side, bit into the moist spongy cake. Flavors exploded on my tongue. I hadn't even known that cinnamon cupcakes were a thing, but I was going to start buying them by the fucking truckload. The sweetest hint of vanilla merged with the spice as I took another bite. Leaning back in my chair, I cracked my knee against the edge of the drawer. "Fuck!" I rubbed the sore spot. A thought slid through my mind. As it landed, I felt sick to my stomach. The delicious treat soured immediately.

The lady sighed, lining the glass cups into a small tray and walking towards them, placing it on a stool in front of them. It already looked tasty, the light pink cream in the glass cup looked like something ready to devour. She has even decorated the top with sprinkles of crushed dry fruit and inserted a small glass spook into the cup for it to be eaten with. "Ladies, I present to you my masterpiece." She grinned "come on already, dig in." They both reached for a glass with a thankful smile. Hazel grabbed her spoon, scooping some of the fruit mix and inserting it into her mouth.

Pixie We went to the club after the recital to celebrate Jax. All the kids were there so it wasn’t as rowdy as it is when the adults party. And there are no skanks. Viper ordered pizza, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, and there were veggie trays. For dessert there was a variety of cupcakes, cookies and fruit for the kids to choose from. I like that they went all out to acknowledge Jax’s accomplishment. When we first got here I stepped back and watched how everyone congratulated Jax. The ones who saw the show were showing videos to the ones who didn’t. Jace, Kadance and Kassidy were bragging about how high Jax could jump and spin fast to anyone they saw. It was cute to watch.

"I know, I know. Don't worry about it." Grandma sighed. I heard my cousin, Katie Woods, ask Siena, "Hey, Siena, is that jinx from your family not coming?" "No, she's not coming.
