The Boss's Obsession

The Boss's Obsession

I never knew of a secret treasure my family supposedly had. Looking up at the painting, I still cannot understand what all the fuss is about. The painting is the second in the series of oil paintings called the guild of the guardians. It features three old men sitting around a table, smoking cigars. They look fat and bored with their lives. It is not a particularly pretty picture, and the colours are dull and lifeless. There is no X marks the spot to indicate a treasure. There really is nothing significant about this painting. It is ordinary in every sense of the word. I run my fingers softly over the brush strokes, feeling the fine ridges made by the brush. At least it is an original. I pic

noticing xia's confused glance she further explained, "you see, last month I was shopping for some rouge, but on the way I noticed a beautiful scroll. Curiosity ate at me, so I took a look. It was a painting of you two sirs kissing. I felt my soul leave my body at that moment. It felt magical!" "ohhhhh, I don't know what painting that is," Xia said and went about drinking his wine. But inside he was continuously screaming. 'It's definitely that chicken painting. How did it spread from Juikal to this farthest town in with west? Ahhhh this is so embarrassing,' he thought, hiding his hot face with his sleeve.

The Cold Mafia Alpha & His Feisty Omega Wife

The Cold Mafia Alpha & His Feisty Omega Wife

Scarlet stared at it, her eyes trailing the creativity, the scenery was beautiful, it was a moonlight painting, a beach, Scarlet could hear the waters crashing against the seashore while the wind whistled around her ears and blew through her hair and clothing, caressing against her soft skin while the fresh smell of nature invade and cloud her senses while the moon was illuminated and glazed brightly from above, turning the waters into a sparkling mess. The painting was a definition of soothing and Scarlet could feel its effect. Her eyes landed below the painting where she saw the artist's signature, carved as XZ, familiar as she had seen a lot of his paintings and they were to die for, he k

Love Hunting

Love Hunting

She followed the chain and reached a big wall. The wall was a bit weird. There were paintings all around. Shama observed each and every painting. The paintings were grouped. There were four paintings in each group. Shama saw one group. A girl was trapped in a crystal jar which was in someone’s hand. In another painting there was a girl crying desperately as she tried to grab a hand which belonged to….Who knows…Another painting had a lonely girl with a cake in her hand as she smiled at herself in the mirror. Another painting had a war scene with blood all around.

Painting with Blood

Painting with Blood

“I mean… second time in two days. Same city, same me. The odds are statistically suspicious.” A muscle ticked in his jaw. “It’s a small island.” “New York? Small?” I laughed. “You’re joking.” He didn’t smile, but something in his eyes softened. Just a fraction. I tilted my head toward the paintings. “What do you think of these?” He glanced at the canvases like he was seeing them for the first time. “They’re loud.” “Loud,” I repeated, grinning. “That’s a good word for it. I think they’re screaming.”

Little girl's wild side

Little girl's wild side

But she tries. After the questioning session, his parents started discussing something with her parents which left just Sindhu and Gautham, who just happen to be viewing the paintings in the living room with curiosity. It was a giant painting of a phoenix. "Before you can ask... I did paint that one" Sindhu told him in a low voice leaning towards him. He was startled at first but after turning towards her briefly he once again gave his attention to the Phoenix. She must say she was quite proud of that piece. It was huge and vibrant with colors that just... you just can't go without noticing it.

Alpha's Rebellious Luna

Instead of arguing, I approached the stand and unveiled what lay beneath the cloth—a painting. The three wolves' reactions were immediate and distinct. My father's eyes narrowed in assessment, Derek's widened in appreciation, and Bernard simply looked confused. The painting was extraordinary—a Fenrir-like creature with massive wings, executed in traditional Northern Territory ink style. The beast seemed to leap from the canvas, its green-gold eyes burning with life and power. "Northern Territory ink art—mythical beasts from ancient wolf legends," I explained, watching their reactions carefully. "This is my exploratory business idea."

Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

Apocalypse Elements Book One: Fire

If anyone saw me, they would think I was having a seizure. “Okay Kalama back to unpacking.” I chide myself. Sighing, I went back to the boxes. I had about 3 more boxes to unpack and add the pieces and painting to the catalogue. Opening the first box, I took out a painting with a beautiful gilded frame with heavy ornaments. Turning the painting over, I saw a majestic Phoenix surrounded by fire, gorgeous flames engulfing the creature, like they were embracing it. The flames seemed to dance before my eyes.

I like your idea for a story. I would love to read this book and find out what you have prepared for the readers. End of the world stuff are from my favorites, but there aren't many books with this motive ;)

This story really ticked my curiosity. I keep on predicting what would happen next. Can't wait to know more about Kalama and the choices that she would make? This story is worth your time. Good Job, author! ?

All The Wrong Places

All The Wrong Places

I will give her the world. Jin attended an exclusive exhibit at a hotel near Julianne’s office. One particular painting caught his eye. The background was an abstract of different colors of blue, purple, black, yellow and red. The center was a face of a man. He had a devilish look on his face. His brown hair fell over his red eyes. He had fangs and though he looked evil, he also looked quite handsome. As Jin stared at it longer, he could make out the wings behind the man in the painting, making him look like fallen angel. Jin must admit, the artist had some skill. “Do you like it?” he heard a female voice ask behind him.

This is the 4th book by this author I have read. Once again it's an amazing book. Another great love story. I definitely recommend it. I do wish the author had a better editing process to make their books even better. There are grammar errors and spelling errors. I look forward to the next book.

All praise to you dear author. This is the 3rd novel I read among your books. It was brilliant that you connected one of your novels and mentioned Astrid Van Woolsen. Loved it. I love how you portray the women in your books. They may be vulnerable yet strong, Beauty brains and good sense of humor

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Lina admired the paintings on Zuko's phone, particularly captivated by the firefly painting's vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes. She expressed her fascination, wishing she could see the artwork in person. Zuko chuckled knowingly. Although Zuko's grandmother was not a renowned artist, she had made a name for herself within artistic circles. Her painting, The Fireflies' Light, had fetched a staggering $30,000,000 at an auction in Centrolis over two decades ago. Her reputation was well-known among industry insiders but less so to those outside the art world.

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Sharon
I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.
