Someone that would believe me. A quick redirect brought me to zoom and it was instantly opened to the interface and the sound of two people yelling to each other on the screen. “Can you at least tell one of your many friends to join?” I had noticed the white one, said to the black. I had remembered her name as Aaliyah from the video. “I don’t have many friends” She said back. “Well i don’t have any friend either” The other replied and she snorted on a laughter. I did too, for a second taking my mind off what had happened.

“Stop exaggerating Lance, seven days isn't a lot. I'm just going to catch up with my friend and have a little fun, you can also have some fun while you're here.” “I still don't get why I can't join you.” Violet sighed, resisting the urge to yell at him to stop being clingy. “Look Lance, I'll be back before you know it so..” Lance threw his arms around Violet, hugging her tightly. “Please come back quickly.” Violet froze. She hugged him back hesitantly. “I love you, Xenia.” Right. He recognized her as Xenia. Violet pulled away from the hug and walked out the door and out of the inn.

Once their cars drove in through the huge black gate, Violet glanced through the tinted glass window of her rear seat and her jaws dropped in amazement, shock, surprise, what was it that she could give as a name to her present state? Her jaw and mouth were dropped in awe. ‘Is this a house?’ Her subconscious mind asked.

VVVVV Kenji emerged from the water and it was so convenient that Geiru chose to walk past. “Were you looking for me?” he asked getting out. No she wasn’t looking for him. He was someone she didn’t want to be around. He gave her a bad feeling. Like her boss bad, but more sinister. But she wanted to know everything. “Maybe” she teased and she knew she was doing it right, because he smiled. “So you can make different expressions apart from neutral. It’s nice”. Geiru smiled. “So I’ve been feeling a little bit congested here. Would you mind accompanying me out?”

She asked me, confused. Why is she acting like she does not know me? This is Vi, my Vi. She has the same brown hair and blue eyes, just like I remember. “Come on Vi.” I chuckled nervously. “It's me, Mike.” I took a step towards her as she took one back. “Oh, silly me.” She smiled. There was something different about her smile though. It was not the same one that I remember. This one....this one was different. “Vi?” I looked at her closely. Then I saw it. She had a birthmark right above her lips. My Vi didn't have one. “Who are you?” I squinted my eyes at her only for her to furrow her brows at me in confusion.

At the same time, Vai, who lifted his head to the present given to him, stood up and helplessly breathed. “Haaa… gift for the present.” He closed his eyes and couldn’t get himself to sit and skim through the reports Rin gave to him without picking a good gift for Lixien. He gently hit his head and gritted his teeth. “Why am I even bothering to choose gifts for her?”

I felt so bad for him at that moment, and I didn’t know what I could do to make it even the slightest bit better for him. I knew his pain, it was my pain. It was my regret, the same regret that I felt over Julian. I tried to get his mind off the whole ordeal so I asked him the first thing that came to my mind. “So, that makes you a vampire for how long?” The question was so inappropriate that I blushed immediately after I had asked it. He seemed to recognize the good nature in which it was intended and he sighed with relief.

Now, that knowledge might just save their lives. Vera watched him with wide eyes, her voice barely above a whisper as she asked, “What are you doing, Vince? Why are you taking so long?” “Give me a minute,” Vince muttered, his focus entirely on the phone. He quickly went through the device, pulling up a code editor he had used before. With a few quick taps, he successfully started creating a virus designed to intercept any money transfers. He planned to reroute the funds somewhere else, ensuring Alex never saw a single cent of the ransom.

Finally, lunch is done and we are headed back to the truck. "Hey, are you ok? You've been really quiet today." Vi says. "I'm good. Just tired and grumpy. I think I need some vitamin D." I wink at her "Well, Ants available." She laughs. "That's fucking gross, and still a HARD PASS." We laugh and continue to the truck.
