One day, while playing, I spotted a glitch. There was always an NPC. He kept getting crushed by falling rocks again and again. Never dodged. If a player pulled him away, he'd walk right back. If anyone talked to him, he'd just repeat, flat, "I... love you." I closed the laptop. Outside the skyscraper windows, the sun rose. I smiled. I'm never going back. Tomorrow's mine.
