Beep, beep, beep... Riley hit the snooze button on her phone. Five minutes later, the same annoying alarm sounded, and this time, she didn't ignore it. It was 6 A.M. and she knew she needed to shower and get ready for her breakfast date with Ethan. As she got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom, she heard her phone vibrate, so she ran over and grabbed it to see, "Good morning, beautiful. Meet me at the diner in town for 8?". She beamed and replied with a "heart emoji, see you then," text right back. She placed her phone back down and grabbed her towel, heading for the shower.

Touch… Chloe gave a shake of her head in an effort to clear her mind of the foggy haze that seemed to be encompassing her. "I don't know what game you are playing, Timothy, but—" she began "I never play games, honey... Not anymore" he assured her softly. She didn't know what to think about him calling her honey, but for the moment Chloe was too concerned by the threat he represented to her, to her equilibrium, to bother asking him about it. "You are playing one right now. And it isn't funny." she reproved. "Please don't say things like that if...please just don't"

Each player took turns picking up stones from one of their pits and distributing them one by one into the subsequent pits, aiming to capture more stones than the other.
