The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Buck was killed at the scene of what was supposed to be a joyous wedding. Everyone in the hall was astounded and dumbstruck after witnessing what happened. Joel, Megan, and Wiley looked at Adrian in astonishment. They felt extremely puzzled, shocked, and emotional in their hearts. They were emotional because this man deserved to die. However, the Snows were terrified at the sight of Buck’s corpse. “H-He killed him.” “Yeah, he’s a cold-blooded killer. Who is he? He killed Buck out of nowhere.”

Venom added, “I have one request. If I die, you must avenge me by killing everybody at Hades’ Hand. “One more thing. Jet might be connected to Hades’ Hand. “Jet must have tracked me down.” Beep, beep… Venom ended the call before Kaze could say anything. Kaze put away the phone and looked up at Snow. “You know the story now.” “Thank you, Mr. Lee.” Though Snow still felt anxious, at least she understood why her mother was poisoned. The specifics were unclear, but at least this was for the best. “When do we leave, Mr. Lee?” Snow was worried about her mother. Despite knowing the way to undo the poison, she still felt uneasy.

So now that they divorced is it a way for him to make a heram? I hope the get back together soon and the author does not drag it too long. Even though Kaze didn’t have physical contact with any of these ladies he is not innocent as well. Darcy is well within her rights to be mad at Kaze

The Winter That Buried Our Youth

The Winter That Buried Our Youth

That day, the blizzard in the mountains was even fiercer than on Christmas Eve. Dad started gasping for air as soon as he reached Camp One, and altitude sickness made him clutch at his own throat. He finally experienced for himself the suffering I went through. With every step, a tearing pain wracked his lungs. "Julian!" he shouted into the wind and snow, but the only response was the howl of the wind. He stumbled upward, tracing the path I had taken to my death. When he reached the rock crevice where I had drawn my last breath, a vision appeared before him.

The mysterious death of Max

The mysterious death of Max

She wasn't kidding. "What are you talking about? As a step?" I even felt the hunger was gone. I hadn't had that much interaction with Max... well, almost no interaction with him but he didn't deserve to die so young and with so much ahead of him. My hands shook a little and I felt panic take over me. Death. I hated that word. "It was this morning. They found him in his room, Nish, he had a bullet in his head." She sobs a little.

Ruined(Eternal Monarch)

Ruined(Eternal Monarch)

Otherwise, I will be bullied in the same way that Juno was. ~Juno's POV~ Snow falls beneath my feet as I go along the forest trail, oblivious to my own destiny. That was my goal. Even after all these years, the thought of dying still appeals to me. Despite the passage of time (4 years), I was still the mother of my son, my boy Darrian. Each time I looked at my wrist, uncontrollably, tears streamed down my cheeks, reminding me of my shortcomings. I’m irritated by the prospect of not dying after attempting practically everything. I sighed quietly. I’m slowing down. I’m at a loss for words at this point. I’m going to die of hypothermia. I went to my knees and began to tremble as the snow began

Thunder wolf ( book 2)

Thunder wolf ( book 2)

He is Loyal to his Alpha and I respected him for that. He never spoke to me much and I didn't expected him to now But when I lifted myself and was going to leave his words stopped me. "..You will die soon.." I turned around and looked at him staring at me with no expression on his face A small smile came on my face as I stepped near him " Isn't that what you wanted since the day I met you?" Silence He kept staring into my eyes and it felt like he was sad looking at me " You are broken ...your eyes look dead and your aura is depressing....they are symtoms of approaching death on the rejection of a weak wolf...I may have hated you but I never wish for you to die..

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Snow said, “Wolf, Lucifer is your friend. Please give me an explanation. I didn’t share the mission with Lucifer and its my fault, but she deliberately led the monster to me and killed me. I should have taken the task. Its my fault, but she was too far.” Elf asked, “Snow, your equipment is so good. Can a monster kill you?” Seeing Elf’s words, I curved my lips and smiled. This sentence hit the nail on the head. A weak player like me who had an orange outfit might be killed by a monster. But Snow's hard golden outfit, how could she be killed? Snow explained, “I was careless. Just now, I saw her fight with monsters. I attacked too. Then my friends sent me a message. I glanced at the message and

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

Death of an Alpha

Death of an Alpha

His jaw was tight, his expression one of disgust. Next to him was Barbara. The crazy woman who had tried to kill me earlier. Her stare burned hotter than fire, her teeth clenched so tight I thought they might break. I had to look away before she killed me with her eyes alone. At my other side, Beta Travis sat stiff as a rock. He tried to look calm, his expression blank, but his fists were clenched under the table, and his left leg shook uncontrollably. Like he was seconds away from exploding.

Winter's Awakening

Winter's Awakening

*Aaron* I trudged through the snow, my boots crunching on the ground as a bitter reminder of the chaos that had just occurred. My heart pounded with a disturbing mix of anger and dread as I neared the lake's edge, now a deceptive sheet of glass shimmering under the relentless winter sun. It seemed cruelly beautiful, concealing the terror beneath its freezing surface. Braxton and Winter might have lost their lives there, and the image kept replaying in my mind—both of them submerged, gasping for air, while I desperately tried to reach them.

The Snowfall That Thawed My Heart

" With that, I turned and grabbed Amelia's hand before walking away. "Charlie Holland! Charlie, stop!" Mom screamed from behind. Melanie tried to catch up, but in the end, she stopped in her tracks. As she watched my determined silhouette, she finally understood that some people, once lost, could never be found again. … It had been two years since I'd come to Valdora. This winter, it finally started to snow. On New Year's Eve, Amelia came knocking on my grandparents' door in the middle of the night. "Charlie, come out! It's snowing!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.
