WOLVIRE

WOLVIRE

This room barely had any fresh air. He had to finish his business here as soon as possible. With quick steps and movements he began to dismantle the large cupboard in the room. The cupboard was filled with old books, most of them looking like journals. Hugo pulled out some of the journals and placed them on the table. The man flipped through the journal, looking for notes that mentioned the words “wolvire”, “red moon” and “Kliwon Friday”.

SATOU, D.
The story was very detailed. It was good. I like how the author made it. It was like a professional estimated novel. Good for the readers who can understand better. Notw: I skipped the news and more. I scanned it. 10 for the scene. 8 for the dialogue. Over all almost 10.
Lyra Venom
The storyline is quite interesting, although we don't that need the news part so much. The dialogue and the scene is balanced, so far. I mean, it's like 50/50 if I may say. Overall, good. Can't wait for another chapter and cliffhanger 🙈

Hated By The Rogue Alpha

Hated By The Rogue Alpha

It was at this moment that he realized just how much in love he was with Amira that he couldn’t even dare to bear the thought that he was losing her or that he had lost her. He tried to think hard why or where Juniper and Amira would have disappeared but as soon as they stepped into the room, right on the table laid a worn out journal and Jonathan recognized the journal immediately. “It’s mother's,” he whispered as he slowly picked up the journal, his fingers tracing over it like it was a sacred object. “This is what she found” Serena whispered and Jonathan swallowed as he slowly opened the journal, flipping over the pages quietly. As he read colour drained out of his face and the chair he w

Moonlight Reborn: Unlikely Mate

Moonlight Reborn: Unlikely Mate

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN JONATHAN Point of View The air in the dimly lit study was thick with the scent of old leather and woodsmoke as I sat at my desk, staring at the crumpled note in my hand. "Damon requests your presence at the pack’s lodge. Urgent." The words were scrawled in a hasty, jagged script, and they gnawed at my curiosity like a persistent itch. Why would Damon, of all people, want to see me? We had never been close—Damon was a wildfire, unpredictable and fierce, while I preferred the steady rhythm of order and caution. Yet something in the summons tugged at me, a thread of intrigue I couldn’t ignore. After a moment’s hesitation, I folded the note and reached for my pho

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Journal (Book 4)

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Journal (Book 4)

Hugging it close to my chest, I tiptoed downstairs and made my way to the atrium. With the coolness of the night freely circulating the roofless lead glass enclosed room, it was a much more enjoyable experience. I immediately wished for a way to be able to sleep there, but I knew that was something that simply would not be allowed. Settling onto a nearby bench, I lit a small candle and positioned it on a miniature tea table next to the bench. I was pleased that, with the candle’s flame mixing with the brilliant moonlight, it was fairly easy to read my aunt’s journal without significant strain to my eyes. Skipping over a few pages that appeared to be a young woman’s lamenting over being mi

The Hunter and the Vampire

The Hunter and the Vampire

Bethan’s grey skin and limp limbs clouded my vision, and I watched in horror all over again as Torre lifted her lips to reveal stained fangs distended from her pale gums. I shook myself as I perched on the arm of the sofa, leaning across my Paps to see the cramped handwriting that had been squashed hurriedly onto the pages of my Dad’s journal. “When we found Bethan at the lake, I thought I recognised her name. I pushed it aside as coincidence, but look – I’ve written about her here. And look at the date.” He pointed to the top right corner, his mouth in a flat, grim line. “That’s almost thirty years ago. The description of her is the same – long hair, pale skin. A young girl, exactly as she

Mated To My Savage Alpha

Mated To My Savage Alpha

Jaden I read through the first journal, careful not to tear any of the pages. There wasn’t much to find to begin with, as there was nothing about the moonstone pack or Claxton. Night had come, and the fire crackled in the lounge as they sat on the floor, tearing through the pages. The smell of smoke wafted through the air, mingling with the musty scent of old books. We tore through the journal’s contents like wild animals ripping apart their prey, desperate for any scrap of knowledge that could aid us in our mission.

The Alpha's Beta: Once Rejected, Now Desired

The Alpha's Beta: Once Rejected, Now Desired

His name tasted like rot in my mouth, and I pressed a hand against my temple, grinding my fingers against the swelling behind my eyes that seemed like frustration. I should have fought harder during that hearing. I should have been with her. I should’ve stepped out of the shadows and pulled out the lies from them. But now she’s gone with no trace, and all I have is just these books. Henry Stark’s journal lay open on my desk. I’ve read it cover to cover since yesterday when we returned from the questioning, hunting for a clue I might have missed, and found nothing. Despite that, I crossed the room to my desk. Sitting, I started again, going through the pages again, slower this time.

The greatest son: Zane strikes back

The greatest son: Zane strikes back

He just continued walking towards him until he stopped dead in front of him, a grin spread across his lips as he looked at the cowering man in front of him. Then he squatted, yanked him forward by his hair until their faces were close together, and leaned over to whisper, “End your deal with Wu, or else I am going to find you again, and you are going to need a face reconstruction if I have to tell you twice. Got it?” Nodding through the pain, Mr. Harker whispered his reply, “G-ot it. I got it.” “Good.”Zane said as he stood up, letting go of Mr. Harker’s hair, and walked away without another word, and after walking a short distance, he got into the backseat of the SUV, and Yoko drove off, fo

Obsessed (Book #12 in the Vampire Journals)

Obsessed (Book #12 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin was so stunned by what she had just witnessed, she could hardly breathe. “It was real,” she said aloud. “It was all real. Everything in my vampire journals really happened.” Yet where did that leave her now? Finally able to take in her surroundings, Caitlin first became aware of the intense heat, then the smell of sand and decay in the air. She could hear the distant sound of dripping, coming from what seemed like a long, long way away, echoing as though from the walls of a cave. Caitlin realized then that she was deep underground.

Betrothed (Book #6 in the Vampire Journals)

"Our time is primitive in many technological ways that you are accustomed to. But we are, in other ways, more sophisticated than even your modern time. We are extremely knowledgeable, and scholarly, and books rule the day. A people of primitive means, maybe, but with a very sharp intellect. “More importantly, this is a crucial time for the vampire race. We stand at a crossroads here. You have arrived at the turn of the century for a reason.” "Why?" Caleb asked. The woman smiled at them before entering yet another door. "The answer to that is one that you will have to find out for yourself.” They entered another magnificent room, with soaring ceilings, stained glass, marble floors, adorned wi
