I couldn’t look at my reflection, and hardly noticed when Josh stepped back in the room. “What the hell are you doing?” He demanded. It seemed he’d finally dropped the friendly mask. “We weren’t supposed to be this long.” I drew back from the ire in his voice. Before I could respond, Mason stepped between us, eyes narrowed. “Let’s step outside, son.” Josh scoffed. “And who the hell are you?” Without missing a beat, he responded, “Levi White Fang. And I’d like to talk to you about the Ridgewood Pack – outside.”

I don’t know who this person is, but he or she is pissing me off. Thankfully it is Friday, and I can be home for the next two days. CHASE I blacked out for a moment but I revived quickly. My senses knew what would happen if we didn't get out of the shitty situation we found ourselves in. "It's a Wendigo!! It's a f*cking Wendigo!!" Damon screamed on top of his lunga line the mindlink.

But I would stay away from the Wendigo tents; those guys are really complicated. — Wendigos... I could remember their faces printed on the papers that were in Logan's house. A shiver ran down my spine just thinking about them. They were horrible, with the ability to mimic the voice of an innocent person crying for help. “Complicated” was an understatement for describing them. I'd say they were even more bizarre.

Make Aurora his Luna… Dammit. And then we have the damn Wendigos. They never stop. At all hours of the day and night, warriors mind-link— another six taken down, eight more attacking the border. It takes two, sometimes three wolves to kill just one Wendigo. And even then, it’s not over. Their bodies must be burned. If not? They just… disappear. That was one of my biggest mistakes—the night Nate saved me, the night we killed those Wendigos in the woods. We didn’t burn the bodies. When warriors returned, the corpses were gone. Now, it’s a shitshow.
