From her a little bit relaxed sitting position, the interviewer sat up, dropping her crossed legs as she replied, “No, it is about your recent book. What is the inspiration for ‘To Love’? the first story of your ‘To Love series’.” “Love,” Christopher had simply replied, not explaining further. The interviewer nodded awkwardly after waiting a bit for Christopher to explain, bit then quickly realizing he wasn’t going to. “Love before or during Miss Hart?” she had asked. “Just love,” Christopher had replied, causing her to nod. “I have started the book, and it had me from the first word,” she had said with a smile. “I am not done with the book, but it already speaks to me.”

Honestly, I know this is not the best work out there and this is definitely not my best work. I will not ramble about how I started writing this book only for fun and how it became a paid story. No. I just wanted to stop by and let you all know that this book is actually a part of a series called PERFECT FOR YOU. Vincent and Joyce’s book is actually book 2 in the series. Richard, Misoo and Beau have their own book and so do Jordan and Aubrey, as well as Olivia Stanton.

“Not to complain, but what’s going on? You just said I smelled bad, now you’re doing this to me in the parking lot?” A dust of red pinched her cheeks. “I thought I’d try something. You always make the first move, and I—I didn’t know what to do, so I read some romance novel before the game. I’m not so sure I’m as ballsy as the girl in this book is though. She was … she was intense. I’m just … I’m just Josie, I’m afraid.”

The new book will be based around Josie and will be called Denied by Destiny: Stepping out from the Shadows. Thank you for your patience as I revisited chapters (a lot) to make this book the best it can be. I am new to this way of writing, which I love, and sometimes need to pull myself back and review...Thank you for being on the journey with me and for remembering that I have only been doing this for a year now. One day I started reading shifter romances and thought, I would love to write one...that was only a little over a year ago and have learnt so much already. So I am really excited to see what the next few years bring.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!!” She snapped it shut startled by my shouting and hugged the book tightly. “No!” “What do you mean ‘no’?? That’s very dangerous, put it down, it’s not for you to mess around with it!!” I’m scolding her like a little child, but I cannot seem to stop myself... “Mother, calm down!” “Josie, you don’t understand!! That book is dangerous!! It contains magic like no other… it can pervert your mind, if you don’t handle it carefully!!”

Hart shrugged off his tweed jacket and loosened his tie, casual in a way that made her heart thrum. “I suppose we’ll have to wait it out.” Fallon sat across from him, legs crossed tightly as the firelight danced shadows across the Persian rug. She shouldn’t have noticed the way his gaze flicked down to her thighs. She shouldn’t have noticed the row of books tucked behind the encyclopedias leather bound, aged spines, titles in French. Erotica. Hart followed her gaze. Said nothing. But when she rose to touch the spines, tracing one book titled La Petite Mort, he spoke low and commanding.

Josie and Kathleen were sitting side by side. I studied all of them, trying to see if I could guess the kind of personality they had. I could already tell that Joe was a very strong minded person. He obviously had to have taken his line of work. I had a feeling he could also be very soft on the inside though. When he wanted to be, that is. Josie met my eyes, smoothening her hair. She was a thin brunette. I had barely been in her presence for ten minutes but I could already tell she was an extremely perceptive and observant woman.

I flatten my hand against her thigh. “She is a great kid, isn’t she?” Josie lifts her head and smiles softly. “We’re better off without him. You know, I debated swearing off men altogether since my last relationship ended with a restraining order, but here we are.” “Yeah…here we are.” I slowly run my hand down her thigh, my body reacting to her heat against me. “What about you?” “What about me?” I ask. “Oh, right. I kinda asked half that question in my head. Are you haunted by any ghosts from the past?”
