A Breeder For The Alpha King

A Breeder For The Alpha King

It was like entering a dream. I ran my hand over the books. Their covers were beautiful, well made, with gilded inscriptions. There was a door at the far left side that Morgan told me was 'Forbidden Session'. Only the King and whoever he allowed could enjoy that space and the books contained therein. I didn't dare ask anything, after all, he had already done me the courtesy of allowing me to visit the library with Morgan.

The Last Dragon's Mage

The Last Dragon's Mage

After he was gone, Liana asks me whether I had any specific book in mind, and when I mentioned mages, she guided me to the last aisle. “This is the only section we have,” she murmurs, sounding almost apologetic. I plaster a small smile in reply. The library is more like a storeroom for books than anything else. It’s not big enough to fit all the books, so some are lying unattended, stacked on top of each other. She goes back to her desk while I scan the spines starting from the topmost shelf. I feel smug at seeing the not-so-good conditions of the books. Our library has red-bound books. One title catches my attention. I tip-toe and take it out.

ON MY HOCKEY BULLY'S BED (BLACKTHORN ELITE)

ON MY HOCKEY BULLY'S BED (BLACKTHORN ELITE)

But on the shelf directly beside it, three books had been pulled slightly forward from the rest—the unconscious habit of someone repeatedly reaching for them. I read the spines. Criminal Law: Principles and Cases. Forensic Evidence in Modern Prosecution. Michigan State Statutes — Student Edition. I stood very still. Mae Lawson wasn’t reading for pleasure. Mae Lawson was researching. I heard Mrs. Pembrook’s chair shift behind me. “Miss Sinclair.” Her voice had changed—less surprised now, more cautious. “Those books were requested by one of our scholarship students this week. They’re reserved.” I turned.

Red Moon Girl: Bride of the Lycan King

Red Moon Girl: Bride of the Lycan King

"But, Jonea–" I rushed to leave Marilyn alone in the cafeteria. I have to go to the library to meet the librarian. Some time ago, I asked to find some reference books on Blue Sapphires. This book is very important to find out about Aland's whereabouts. The librarian gave me three reference books. The books look very ancient and old. "Be careful when borrowing this book. Actually, you can't take these books out. But since you got a special reference from someone, then I allow you."

THE WRONG VOW, MY PERFECT ALPHA

THE WRONG VOW, MY PERFECT ALPHA

“For training.” I smiled despite myself. “Tell her thank you.” The maid hesitated. “Actually…” “What?” “She said not to thank her.” I frowned. “Why?” “You’ll understand later.” Strange… very strange. That evening, I wandered into the library again, this time not to read but because I wanted silence. I returned yesterday’s books. The librarian smiled nervously. “I found something else you may enjoy.” He placed a slim volume before me. It wasn’t about kings or bloodlines or prophecies. Its title read; Forgotten Women of the First Kingdom.

Dating The Villain

“Staying up late means in our houses, sir! We can’t possibly use the library all the time!” He then looked at Miss Minchin. “Miss Minchin?” The librarian still looked all amused. “Miss Diwa was the only person who finished that thesis proposal, inside my library, using my library's computers. I helped her so many times with the books that she might find helpful.” She then scowled at the girls. “And, you three, I have never even seen you before, especially in my library with Miss Diwa when she was busy rushing all your parts. Tell me, honestly, where do you get this audacity, huh?”

THIS. BOOK. DESERVES. A. LOT. OF. VIEWS I admire the author's writing style because the story is well-written. You can easily go with the flow because there are no bothersome errors. The title is catchy and intriguing that makes you want to explore the story itself. Kudos to the author!
Frankie Nero.
Great read. I love how you took your time in character development. Its one of the things I admire in fiction. I also loved the fact that the clichés were minimised. I think I fell in love with Sofia at one point. She's the definition of woman power.

Rise of the Alpha Queen

Rise of the Alpha Queen

’ Leaning back in his seat once more, he rests his right arm over the back of the chair, a cocky grin on his face. A chuckle moves up my chest, filling the quiet of the library, drawing the attention of Jamari and the four Demons on guard duty at the time being. ‘Good to know you’re good for something mutt.’ A smile pulls up the corners of my lips when Kenji scowls at my words. “If you two are done over there,” Jamari’s voice interrupts our conversation. “There are tons of books that need to get looked through on that table over there.” She points to the table located behind Kenji before turning her attention back to the stack on the table she sits at.

To Be Married To a Sinner

To Be Married To a Sinner

I walked inside just the way every single part of Morgan’s place made me feel—I was in awe. The mantle over the tall fireplace held fine vases and some sculpted art. The room had a warm glow and a big shelf that held hundreds and if I’m not mistaken two hundred and fifty-seven other books. My teeth dug into my lips as I walked closer to the shelf and felt the hardcover of the books. They were way over twenty years and the thought of having a book just as old as I am made my stomach twist. What was Morgan doing with all these books and how did he have access to the first editions of these?

Chapter 4 Jordan POV The Mercer library is the kind of room that makes you forget you’re technically living in the den of wolves who might end up on the evening news. Dark wood. Built-ins that stretch up to a vaulted ceiling. A rolling ladder that looks decorative until you realize every shelf is actually full. Legal treatises I didn’t expect to see on private land. Old histories. Emergency manuals. Binders labeled in neat block print. All the ways a pack can look normal.

The Rise Of Akaisha Morningstar

The Rise Of Akaisha Morningstar

Misty’s temperament seems harmless to her, but with his genetics, that could be a false sense of security. Acheki walked to the holographic desk and reserved a private study room. He held out his wrist. The robot librarian scanned his wrist, pulling up his library information. In a robotic tone, it repeated what was on the screen. “Jalefel Acheki. Return book date, march eleventh. Book One Day and Night: the carnal diaries. Book Two Chasing Spirits. Book Three Living in the Human World.” He covered his face. It wouldn’t have been a problem if he was alone, but someone else heard his reading list. He glanced at her briefly. Akaisha wasn’t paying attention. The robrarian unlocked a private roo
