“I knew it.” Daisy turned sharply toward me. “Who’s Klaudius?” I looked out the window, watching as the clouds slowly drifted across the moonlight. “He’s not just anyone, Daisy. He’s the vampire's king.” I turned back to her. “Klaudius is the Blood King. The first vampire to ever organize the blood clans and try to wipe out all Alpha bloodlines centuries ago. He vanished after the Great War, but I always suspected he was still pulling strings.”

He wanted a reaction from me and he got the response he was clearly searching for. “You fucking bastard!” I raised my fist to punch him in the face, but with a speed that didn't surprise me anymore, he disappeared from the spot and appeared at the other corner of the dark basement. “You really underestimate me, Aurora or should I say Rose? Have you forgotten exactly what I am?” His eyes gleamed with pride and mischief. “A vampire. And not just any vampire. I am the leader of all vampires. I am Lucious Vladimir, the king of all vampires.”

“Wha' wrog?” “They found another body,” She said, “Under the bridge. Same place as the last one. They said the body had all its blood drained out.” “Just like the last ones.” I shivered. She turned to me, eyebrows raised. “Apparently there are no obvious wounds. Do you still think they’re animal attacks?” “Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “What else would they be? Vampires?” “You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.”

It was not that I was to forcefully marry and bond with someone but it was the who. King Vampir was ruthless. He was the first vampire, the sire of the whole vampire race. He was not just a vampire but a hybrid, a cross between a witch and vampire, making him as old as the world, rendering him immortal. My stomach turned and I thought I would vomit right there as I continued crawling my way to the door, getting there and standing up only to rush out to the crowd outside, patiently waiting and hoping for their name to be called.

Xavier's pov: My name is Xavier Fernandes, A full-blooded vampire from the Dracula lineage and the head vampire of my clan. He took a step back and she landed on the bare floor. "I doubt you know who I am," he spoke without fear. She laughed maniacally, "we, the condemned, have neither fear of the gods nor of man. Tell me, who are you?" He smiled, "I am no man. I am Sebastian Deusdedit, lord of the vampires." She seemed a bit shocked for an instant then her eyes glowed even more. "Even more lovely," she licked blood red lips, "your heart will give us even more power than we have ever had and we will conquer the villages and rip their heart to shreds."

Jack's gaze looked fixed. "But... that's impossible...." Angel shook her head slowly. "I really smelled such a fragrant aroma when I met you, that it gave me the belief that you were my Luna," added Jack with a look full of sincerity. "Jack," Angel held the man's hand with a fixed look, "I... have vampire blood in part of me. So, there's no way-" "That's a lie, Angel," interrupted Jack with a crooked smile. "What Erick said was a lie."

She scoffed at my announcement, "Mate, you say. That human cannot be your mate Damian. Do not be delusional" "The instincts, the attraction says otherwise", I argued. High Queen sighed, "Damian, being attracted or having craving for their blood doesn't always mean that you are mates. Vampires by nature crave human blood more than any other creature's blood because human blood is like nectar to our palates". She closed her eyes as if she was reminiscing something similar although I was aware that she had abstained from drinking human blood decades ago.
