“I knew it.” Daisy turned sharply toward me. “Who’s Klaudius?” I looked out the window, watching as the clouds slowly drifted across the moonlight. “He’s not just anyone, Daisy. He’s the vampire's king.” I turned back to her. “Klaudius is the Blood King. The first vampire to ever organize the blood clans and try to wipe out all Alpha bloodlines centuries ago. He vanished after the Great War, but I always suspected he was still pulling strings.”

He wanted a reaction from me and he got the response he was clearly searching for. “You fucking bastard!” I raised my fist to punch him in the face, but with a speed that didn't surprise me anymore, he disappeared from the spot and appeared at the other corner of the dark basement. “You really underestimate me, Aurora or should I say Rose? It was not that I was to forcefully marry and bond with someone but it was the who. King Vampir was ruthless. He was the first vampire, the sire of the whole vampire race.
