YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

YOU WILL NEVER BE MY GOD, FELIX.

The lady raised an eyebrow, “You didn't pick up my calls.” “I was in a meeting,” Greg explained. “Are you obsessed with me or something? Leave, come over to my house later.” Dismissing her, he ran towards me, “I'm sorry, my sisters are real pain in the ass.” I nodded in understanding, “I didn't know your name was Judas.” An embarrassed smile spread across his face. “My mum didn't name me that, my sisters did,” he explained. “They think I betrayed them because I moved out of the house, I'm the only male and the last born.”

My Sister’s Deception

My Sister’s Deception

“Please don’t blame us! We truly didn’t know.” Claude slightly lifted his chin. “Then tell me. Who gave you the courage?” As if grasping at a lifeline, they all turned their gazes toward Leon and Rose. Leon supported Rose as they stood up. He looked at me, resentment filling his eyes. Compared to Leon’s helpless expression, Rose had already calmed down. She carefully swept her hair back, deliberately revealing her slender neck. The moment our eyes met, Rose no longer showed any trace of fear. She walked openly toward Claude. In a soft, delicate voice, she said, “Alpha Claude, you may not know this, but Claire and I are actually sisters.

His Savior Was Never My Sister

His Savior Was Never My Sister

Caleb whispered, his voice thick. I looked at the faces around me. At Mrs. Moretti’s pale, dignified fear. At the young flower girl, now clinging to her mother’s skirt. At Caleb, whose eyes held not fear for himself, but a devastating anguish for me. This was my new family. This peace, this respect, was what I had traded my old life for. I would not see it buried in stone and blood because of a ghost I’d foolishly allowed to haunt me.

Taming Asher

Divinesuccess stop calling me miss
Her eyes twinkled with delight at the suggestion, and we set to work immediately. "So you not only make hair, you also do nails, huh?” She was so impressed. “Yeah…not a big deal, right?" She huffed. “Of course, it is. Look at Faith here. He is so useless. He's got three sisters but can't get a single thing done for us. And they say guys with sisters have higher tendencies of learning stuff like this. But his case differs. I heard you had a sister. What about her? Did she leave with your mum?"

A Love That Shouldn't Be

A Love That Shouldn't Be

Physically mom is fine. Sadie always held onto her faith but she hasn't missed church since my diagnosis. Mom was a devout Christian before her decline. Somewhere in that maze of brain she still is. Sometimes I think the belief in supernatural beings is not good for someone in her condition. My sister would never shove religion down your throat but after one conversation, you'd know she was Christian. She believes people should come to their faith in their own time, and on their own journey if it leads them there. "Frank," Sadie announces through my door, followed by a few soft knocks.

Millionaire's Hot Secretary

Tears were rolling down her face. I pulled her into a hug. "Stop crying. We all live in this world. For letting me know this, I should trust you." "You're the best person in the world. God bless you. I promise to pray for you every day of my life." I smiled. She was just like Mia. *** "So… with all this story, your point is that Faith is Sam's sister?" Hames asked. "Yes." I took a seat beside him on the couch. "And she's not a bad person."

Chained By Fate

Chained By Fate

She said with a laugh before wincing in pain. “But you are family.” He said, still holding her cheeks as he smiled sadly down at her. “I can see your resemblance to my sister. How many others are there?” Faith grabbed his wrists, pulling back and looking away. Sadness flooded our bond, and I did my best to push warmth and support her way, but the tears slipped down her cheeks anyway. “As far as I know, it is only me. There is a chance I have a niece out there, but it is very slim. He took her, and I think he killed her when he killed my sister.” Faith said, looking down at Cain’s bones.

Taken by the False Priest

His mind replayed her words again and again. FLASHBACK He stepped into Sister Vera’s office. “Sit down,” Sister Vera told him. He did. She walked closer, then turned to face him, arms folded. “You’re not clergy,” she said flatly. Fred blinked, frozen. “And yet you move through this chapel as if you belong here.” “I went through Father Damien’s documents and found something uneasy.” “Uneasy?” Fred asked, pretending he didn’t know what she meant. Sister Vera blinked. “I don’t know what games you, Father Damien, and the previous priest are playing with the faith of this chapel.”
