Was that…an animal?” He whipped his head from side to side, even though he couldn’t see anything. I sighed in exasperation. “It was just a rock, Uncle Jules,” Billy said kindly. “You’re perfectly fine,” I assured Jules. “This is a dense forest. There’s just lots of debris. We’ll go slow. Billy is looking out for you.”
