Novel & Cerita Julia Enright Story

I was still waiting on the background report on Julia and her kid but in the meantime, I was going to play with her. Right at eight am I heard the elevator ding and the click of high heels. Moments later, Julia entered my office. Today she was wearing a red collared shirt, grey skirt, and black heels. Her hair was down in soft curls down her back. It was even longer than before and looked so soft. “Good morning Mr. Mackenzie,” she greeted me with a radiant smile. I returned her smile with one of my own, “good morning, Miss Love.” She approached me with a stack of papers.

“It’s Julia, Denae…your mother’s best friend. I might look old now, but it’s me. I don’t know how I managed that night. I along with a few other omegas were ordered to take the kids somewhere safe…your mother said the safe house would be invaded and if nobody else survived, then the kids…at least the kids must live. But even on our way out, we were attacked, some of the children died and I was close to dying as well, but beta Shawn had been the one to come to our rescue. I managed to make it out of there alive with some of the kids by my side. I was injured, but for them, I had to live and here we are, back at the same place we had almost met our doom…me and the children who’ve all grown up.

Mrs Haward continued and placed an envelope on the table in front of Julia. "Open it," Mrs Haward said and Julia took the envelope and opened it with shaking hands. In the envelope was an image of her mother with a man having fun at a party. In another image was her mother with her friends at the restaurant where she used to work and there was a waitress of the year award given to her by the same restaurant. Next was her termination which was based on poor performance. Tears started flowing down Julia's face. "How did you come by this information," Julia asked.

Beside him, Lydia was a mess, tears streaming down her face, sobbing uncontrollably. Julia was teetering on the edge of a breakdown. First, that witch Evangeline had shamed her. Then, her relationship with Walter had shattered. As if that was not bad enough, she was in the crosshairs of the Foster family's goons. However, she could not give up—not yet. Julia had not claimed what she was owed, had not toppled that witch Evangeline. She could not just roll over and die. A spark of defiance ignited in Julia's eyes. Snatching up her phone, she dialed a number with determination…

It originally had a window, but the glass had long been broken and its place supplied by a large board, which failed to keep out the wind and rain, so that during the winter season the closet was a cold, cheerless place. But on the night of which we were speaking, it contained a novel piece of lumber. Crouched behind an old barrel sat Julia, listening eagerly to the conversation between her teacher and Mr. Miller. When it ceased she arose from her dark hiding place and muttered to herself: "So you'll see, will you? You old torment! I wish the Old Scratch had got you before you ever came here. If I dared to I'd—but no, I wouldn't do that, bad as I am. However, I'll cheat you for once, you hat

Stella said coldly, "I'm not Jaylene. Don't try your flattery on me, and don't blame me if my words get harsh." Julia's face turned a mix of green and white. Her lips trembled, but she couldn't get a word out. The elevator arrived at the seventh floor, and Wren, Julia, and the others stepped out. Stella, expressionless, closed the elevator doors. Once the doors were fully shut, Julia looked up, her face openly showing her resentment. "She just got lucky being born into the right family. People call her Ms. Hall and she really thinks she's something!"

"Oh, that lady wasn't Mrs Sullivan. Mrs Sullivan has dark hair. I know because she went to the museum with us last week and she told me all about how Mr Sullivan works with planes. That lady looked a lot like Charlotte Miller's mother." Their conversation ended by the arrival of Terry, but they never got to order. Julia's waters broke and they headed to the hospital. On Christmas morning Julia was feeding the baby as her family opened their gifts. Terry put a necklace around her neck and kissed her. "I knew," he whispered. "I knew, but you ended it before I'd had a chance to do anything about it. I'm not happy about it, but for what it's worth, I think it saved our marriage."

Julia spoke first, "I kicked Henry out. I found out he paid off a doctor to fake his diagnosis, and he was pretending to be terminally ill. So a few days ago, I threw him out for good. Jake, I'm sorry. I misunderstood you all this time." I nodded faintly, my expression calm. I didn't intend to speak. Honestly, I just found it absurd. The people who once hurt me now stood before me with heads bowed, begging for forgiveness. By then, the wound had already cut too deep. Like a trench carved by time itself, no amount of apology could ever fill it. The air between us was still. After a moment of hesitation, Julia finally spoke again, "I've been reassigned abroad to Ravenca. The environment there

And now, she thought, it was her fate to help keep those ghosts from finding her again. But what did she really know about Elena? Finding her by Jaden's tombstone wasn’t enough reason to get involved in her life. Yet, Julia couldn't shake the feeling. She exhaled slowly, her hand brushing against the edge of the bed. Outside the clinic window, dawn pressed against the glass. What if Elena was more trouble than she could handle? She'd have to wait for her to wake up. Then she'd find out. ~~~~~ BRAD The house was quiet.

assistant"> As the sun rose higher, casting golden light over the clearing, Julia stood surrounded by her family—the pack, George, Thomas, and her newborn daughter. The morning breeze moved gently through the tall pines, carrying the scents of earth, smoke, and life itself. Everything felt still, not in emptiness, but in peace that had been earned through struggle, loss, and survival.
