Julia Macedo Novels & Stories

Without wasting time, she walked out of the department and headed for Valeria's office. "Please take a seat," Maria said with a forced smile on her face. "And what do I call you Ma'am?" She asked. "Dana," Dana replied, "Dana Hamilton and I heard that you are Maria Cruz, the wife of late Manuel Cruz." "Yes I am, it's nice to meet you." It was clear that Dana didn't recognize her and for some reason, it annoyed Maria. "So what do I owe this visit?" Maria asked. "I just came from Italy and after hearing the devastating news about your company, I decided it was best to see for myself and decide whether I could be of help." Dana said with all seriousness, it was almost as if she was pleading.

It took a while for my heart to relax. Putting my hands over my face, I gasped when the MC began the ceremony. Even if diego never apologizes this feels like more than enough to forget how much of an asshole he is. “this feels so unreal. I would never have imagined this happening in the next five years. There is a reason Julia is considered special. Her events are always held exclusively, and the designs are bought by one of one in this city. She is one of those people whom I view as my role model. I wish I could meet with her.” Diego smirked, “We will see about that. Why not enjoy the show?” he urged.

It was as if all the members of the family could kill her at anytime. Julia later learnt that she was the favorite child of Senator Marcus because she was smart. Her mother was the third wife of Senator Marcus, and she was the last child. He married Raina when after fifteen years of being with Samantha and no other child was forthcoming apart from Martha. And funny enough, after one year of marriage to Raina, no child to show for it. Julia was puzzled because Senator Marcus was rarely at home to say in essence since she moved in she hasn't seen him.

Julia said and left the hospital… Echo nodded, he felt relief because Julia didn't ask him anything about his discussion with Marcus… Julia arriving at the company was approached by his assistant Rachel, telling her she has to prepare for a meeting with the board of directors…in a few minutes…stating that they want to discuss the upcoming “high profile charity gala”... Julia nodded…and went straight to her office…she was so happy about Echo's freedom…seeing his face again gave her butterflies in her tummy… Julia was going through some files .. waiting for the meeting time ..as a message buzzed in her phone…

"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. Your daughter keeps doing crazy things even when I'm the true Luna. I have been waiting for this poor thing of yours to leave him for me!"

Other than Mason, it wasn’t terrible. Mason just needed to be tolerated. Bella was the least fake senior girl—she had moments of being human. Macey was quiet so it would be easy to ignore. She looked like Violet-from-The-Incredibles. Quiet, hair covering one eye, purple headphones, and beautiful purple eyes I’d never seen on a person before. She stayed locked into her notebook like eye contact might hurt her. I sat down and started doodling until a familiar voice cut through. “Yo! Juan!”

Margarette looked at her imploringly, “But she left the human. She left the human because she felt responsible for Jilroid.” She buried her face on the trunk and embraced it. “When the Dark One hit her with one of his curses, I tried to void it. But his powers were so strong I had no chance against him. I threw myself at the feet of the Fates, asking their help. I have nothing left but my sister.

It was calm and peaceful but almost like a whisper like there was something stuck in the speaker's throat making their voice come out as if, along with white noise. The both of them turned around to the speaker, it was none other than Jelena Savage herself! The Coalition Chieftess of the Als race!

I felt like I was in the middle of chaos. My cell phone vibrated on the desk, and when I looked at the screen, it was a message from Mariana thanking me for recommending Ms. CatarinaVergara, whom she had just hired to be Alessandro's new advisor. I was tempted to ask how the girl was, but I followed Patrício's advice and simply replied that I was happy with the news. Julia entered the room and placed a plate with a sandwich and a glass of watermelon juice on my desk.
