The Cage of Mercy

The Cage of Mercy

The shackle around my ankle was heavy, and my legs gave out. I managed to keep from falling by gripping the table, but I realized I wasn’t even allowed to leave the kitchen with these legs. Just as I collapsed, the man returned with a black box in his hand. He knelt in front of me and said, “The loser has to follow the winner’s punishment. You knocked over the dominoes, so you lost this game.” “I lost……? You never said that.” “Didn’t I?” The man tilted his head. I didn’t know what was in that black box, but he had brought it. I didn’t want to look inside. After a pause, the man flicked his finger and tapped the lid of the black box, then added,

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

The book was everywhere. Stacked in gleaming piles at the entrance, hugged in the arms of every single one of the guests, its cover a masterpiece of affective branding: a softly blurred, casual photograph of a young Davidson, his back to us, walking away from the lens into a vortex of white-hot light. The cover screamed in bold, spartan typeface: BETRAYED BY THE PROTÉGÉ. And below, the killer subtitle: A Wife's Story of Faith, Family, and a Fortune Stolen.

THE EXTRAORDINARY BRIDE OF THE WYNDHAM FAMILY

THE EXTRAORDINARY BRIDE OF THE WYNDHAM FAMILY

"I look just like her." "You do," Victor agreed. He crossed to a small cabinet and retrieved a leather-bound album, pressing it into her hands. Mercy sat on the edge of the bed, her fingers shaking as she turned the pages. It was a chronicle of a life: her mother smiling, laughing, vibrant and full of light. And there was Victor—younger, his face free of the heavy lines of duty, looking at the woman with unmistakable devotion. "She looks so happy," Mercy said, a stray tear tracing a path down her cheek.

The Aurelian story has totally hooked me. I don’t know if anyone else has read this far (starting from Chapter 261), but I have to say, the second part of this book is just as fun as the first one... even more gripping, to be honest… Does anyone else feel the same way?

The Price Of Her Mercy

The Price Of Her Mercy

MIRA Pale light filters through the curtains, touching the edge of the world like a blessing. Jackson sleeps beside me, one arm stretched where I had been. His brow is creased, even in rest. He carries the war into his dreams too. But something in me is different. Quieter, and settled. Seeing everyone happy gives me hope. I sit on the edge of the bed, feeling the weight of my decision lock into place like a final puzzle piece. This doesn’t end with guns. It ends with mercy, it ends with truth, It ends with me. I won’t let this story devour another generation. I won’t let Nora grow up haunted by ghosts she never created.

Blue Blood

Blue Blood

She was slightly taller, her skin looked more tanned, and her eyes that were previously light hazel but now, I couldn’t even place the color. Her features seemed enhanced. She sat beside me and handed me something, I looked to see that she handed me a book. I squealed in delight. Finally! Something to distract me!! I can’t keep thinking about murderers and mythical creatures! I’ve even forgotten that I’m human, at this point. I slid my palm across the smooth cover of the book and admired the cover. On the cover, read “To kill a mockingbird.” After studying the cover and tossing the book up and down, I smiled and looked up to speak to Eve when I caught her staring at me with a strange express

HOUSE OF WITCHES

HOUSE OF WITCHES

It had a black thick leather cover and a golden seal on its top. “The Crow.” Lelia said, and a book with a bright red cover appeared in her palms. She turned to a page where the history and image of the crow was shown. Janeka got her mind back to why they were here and what they were going to defeat. “I see your mind is caught up with the black book.” Lelia said, chewing her lips. “That's what we want, isn't it?” Janeka said.

He smiled broadly at what the interlocutor said. "But Santia saved him." "Exactly. By the way, Khione, I really need to go now. I have something to do because, but this book is really great. For sure it's for sale again! All right, I need to go. Take care, ha. " She nodded repeatedly as she waved at her director. When it was finally gone, he sighed before looking at the book he was holding. The book cover is really great. It's an illustration of an angel, wearing a white dress and white wings at her back.

The cover of the book read, “Arthur Zimmerman, Game 71. I found the second shelf on the case and scanned for my next book. Book thirteen had a cover of deep purple. I frowned at the woman looking up at me, scanning over her tangled fiery curls, the cinnamon freckles across her nose, and the way her emerald eyes seemed to twinkle at me from the cover. Her hair and eyes were the only familiar thing about her. My face was a bit rounder than hers, and definitely held a bit more baby fat. Her cheekbones were high and her lips full, conventionally beautiful in a wild sort of way. I felt that twinge of guilt as I looked down at the cover. “Sasha Burnette, Game 51.”

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

A NEW PET FOR THE MAFIA KING

A NEW PET FOR THE MAFIA KING

He had cookbooks? A laugh almost escaped my lips. This was not what I expected from him. Snap! My hand knocked off a book nestled between two thick leather+bound books and I bent to the floor, picking it up. But, something about it caught my attention. Probably the book title font, or the fact that the cover was hella attractive. I couldn't quite place. I stared at the book written in Bold black and white font with the title: A New Pet for the Mafia King By Author Liy Lah.

Badgering My Billionaire Bully

he waved dismissively at her, wishing the barista would hurry up and get his coffees to him and sincerely regretting ordering his PA one since it was delaying his return to the office. “Narnurs,” the woman shoved the book in his face, “the latest release from Perris Brooks. You’re Narnurs, right? You are on the cover of the book?” Realization hit him almost as soon as the dread did when he took the book from her hand and looked at the cover. His fingers clenched tight around the hard binding.
