This would be exciting. “You know what, Oldie? You should try to smile, that would help you. I mean when someone tells a joke or when someone approaches you.” I told him, but he just furrowed his eyebrows.

"Now go." A faint pause.."And try not to apologize to anyone today." There it was again, that almost invisible smile. "So I don't have to give you the same lecture twice."

“Just, please allow me a few moments to revel in my feelings before I push them away.” He smiled. “I can do that.”

I laughed. “I think I’ve figured out this magical pocket,” Grant grumbled. “You have to listen to whatever someone tells you to do even if you don’t mean it.” “I see. Smile, Grant.” I watched as the muscles in his face contorted and forced a smile across his face. “Okay you can stop now.” “Why smiling?” He demanded. “I love your smile.
