Jackson questioned Lucas, his eyes dark and gloomy. "I have only one question: Have you ever intended to give Serenity true justice?" Lucas demanded in a deep voice. "I'm giving Serenity justice right now," Jackson stated. Lucas snorted, "What you call justice is just the downfall of the Hall and Shaw family. The real culprit got away with murder, and Serenity still doesn't know who she is—Jenny, the second daughter of the Hall family, Zeke's fiancee!"

I grabbed her hair, ready to hit her again, but Stuart grabbed my wrist. "I told you not to make this worse. Now, you're even taking her to court?" he said in disbelief. He glanced at Grandpa, then leaned in close to threaten me in a low voice. "Now that Alfred is awake, just drop this already. I'll tell you the truth. I already destroyed all the evidence. You'll just make a fool of yourself in court." I yanked my hand away and sneered, "How the court rules is up to the judge. Also, you're not welcome here! Once I'm done with the lawsuit against Madison, I'll start one with you.

It was completely filled with some of both packs there. “If I can have your attention, please.” Piercy kept me against him. “We have heard the rumors that are going around, so we figured we would address them. First, we have worked on a system to see if we can keep the second pack going. No one has been named gamma. Beta Henry and Gamma Beau are still working on finding someone. However, we have narrowed it down. Please keep being patient with us. Next, I’m happy to announce that Luna Brett is pregnant!”

"Who did this?" It was not loud, yet her voice silenced the courtroom immediately. Yvonne was panicking, but she held it down and spoke up. "Ms. Leidermann, this is my family's af—" "Family affairs?" Rachel sneered and took out a diamond ring. To everyone's shock, she held my hand. "It's not your family's affair when Shawn is my fiance." The ring was shimmering. It was the same one she was going to give me in our previous lives. She just… never had the chance.

Placing all the cables against the hardened slime, JumpStart pulled out his stun baton. As he prepared to power the cables, I look at Justice. I noticed her beautiful eyes behind her black mask. I noticed her short, wavy blond hair. I notice her pink lips. Lending forward, I kiss Ms. Justice, just as JumpStart powered up the cables, and altogether, they blew up the slime.

Zane observed, his fingers drumming on the armrest, a sign of irritation. "Because the truth is complex, and dangerous knowledge has already cost us centuries of progress." She sat heavily, looking older than I'd ever seen her. "Your children, Aria. The prophecy about them isn't complete. The Council has been hiding the second part for fear of what would happen if it became known." Ice slid down my spine. "What second part?"
