I frowned, looking away from him. He sighed, the warmth of his hand cupping my face to make me look at him. “I don’t care about any of that. I don’t care that you’re a Hatake. I don’t even care that you’re Kitsune. I’ve seen you take someone’s life, and I don’t care.” he was so serious. His voice didn’t waver, and his eyes remained focused. He wasn’t bullshitting me.
